Currently, the slopes on both sides of the river are finished with concrete. Unlike traditional rivers, trees and grass cannot grow on concrete slopes. The slopes of old rivers had trees and grass growing on them, so when water falls into a river, people can grab onto these things and climb up on their own. However, concrete slopes have smooth surfaces and there are no trees or grass to grab onto, so if you fall into a slightly flowing river, you will not be able to climb up on your own. In particular, children and the elderly are unable to climb out on their own even if they fall into a river with a fairly slow flow. There are places where metal stairs, etc. are fixed to the concrete slope. Stairs are easy to grab on rivers with no current. however,
If there is even a slight current, it becomes extremely difficult to grip fixed stairs, etc. This is because a strong force is required to instantly stop the entire body being washed away with the water. That is, a body floating in water has a large amount of kinetic energy, but this kinetic energy needs to be instantly reduced to zero when a person grabs a staircase or the like with his or her hand. In addition to this force, you also need the force to stop your entire body against the flow. Trees and grass that grew in ancient rivers have the advantage of being easier to grab even in flowing rivers, compared to stairs fixed to concrete slopes. This is because when a tree or grass is grabbed by the hand, it bends flexibly and acts as a buffer against the instantaneous force that is applied. However, since trees and grass grow naturally, their shapes are amorphous, making it difficult to find a place to grab them.

This device was developed with the aim of eliminating these drawbacks of the conventional method.The important purpose of this device is that even if there is some current in the river, people who fall into the water can reliably grab onto the river, so that they can safely move the river. The goal is to provide a river life preserver that allows people to climb out of the river on their own.

[Operation and Effect] The river lifesaving device of this invention includes a handle portion 1 attached to a fixed portion 3 via an elastic material 2. When this handle part 1 is grasped by hand, the elastic material 2 stretches. The elongation of the elastic material 2 relieves the excessive force that is exerted when a person who falls into the water grasps the handle part 1. That is, the elastic material 2 stretches to make it easier for a person falling into the water to grasp the handle 1, just as natural wood in the past bends to stop a person from falling into the water. In other words, the elastic material 2 serves as a buffer for the force applied to the handle portion 1, and significantly weakens the maximum load applied to the hand. The elastic material 2 is slowly stretched from the time the handle part 1 is grasped until the person who falls into the water comes to rest against the flow, thereby alleviating the maximum force applied to the hand. In addition, the elastic material 2 stretches in proportion to the force acting on the handle 1, so when a large adult grabs the handle 1, it stretches greatly and significantly reduces the gripping force. It has the feature of expanding and contracting even when the flow fluctuates, alleviating the gripping force exerted on the hand. Therefore, the river lifesaving device of this invention has the feature of being able to be attached to a flowing river and safely saving people who fall overboard.

Hereinafter, embodiments of this invention will be described based on the drawings. However, the embodiments shown below are illustrative of a device for embodying the technical idea of this invention, and the device of this invention differs from the material, shape, and shape of the component parts.
The structure and arrangement are not limited to those shown below.
Various modifications may be made to the device of this invention within the scope of the claims for utility model registration. Furthermore, in order to make it easier to understand the scope of claims for utility model registration, this specification includes numbers corresponding to the members shown in the examples in the "column of claims for utility model registration",
Additional notes are added to the members shown in the "Column of Means for Solving Conventional Problems" and the "Column of Functions and Effects."
However, the members shown in the scope of the utility model registration claims are by no means limited to the members of the embodiments. The river lifesaving device shown in Fig. 1 includes a handle part 1,
An elastic material 2 whose one end is connected to the handle portion 1;
It consists of a fixing part 3 that fixes the handle part 1 to a concrete slope of the river via this elastic material 2. The handle part 1 is formed into a hook shape or an annular shape so that a person who falls into the water can easily grasp it. Further, the handle portion 1 has numerous irregularities on its surface or is coated with rubber or the like so that it does not slip easily when gripped. In order for this handle part 1 to have sufficient strength,
It is made of metal, synthetic resin, rubber, etc. The surface of the metal handle 1 is preferably coated with synthetic resin, rubber, or the like so that it does not corrode due to contact with water. A rubber-like elastic body or a spring can be used as the elastic material 2, but a rubber-like elastic body is optimal in terms of corrosion resistance. This elastic material 2 is made into an elongated shape, and has one end connected to the handle portion 1 and the other end connected to the fixing portion 3. The length and flexibility of the elastic material 2 are adjusted to values that allow it to stretch and relieve the force when a person who falls into the water grabs it. When using a rubber-like elastic body as the elastic material 2, for example, synthetic rubber with a total length of 30 to 100 cm and a thickness of 7 mm to 30 mm, or a rubber sheet with a cross-sectional area close to this, is used. It is preferable that the handle part 1 does not protrude from the concrete slope for a long time when it is not held by hand. This is because if the handle part 1 protrudes largely from the slope, it becomes a hindrance to the flow and dust etc. accumulate there. As shown in Fig. 1, the handle part 1
It is located so that it protrudes from the slope somewhat so that it can be easily grabbed by people who have fallen into the river. The fixed part 3 is formed into a cylindrical shape, and the opening is located on the slope. One end of the elastic member 2 is connected to the back of the fixed portion 3. The slope life preserver shown in FIG. 2 has a plurality of handles 1 connected to each other so that the user can easily climb up the slope when gripping the handles 1. In this life preserver, a plurality of string members 4 are connected to the lower end of an elastic member 2, and a handle portion 1 is connected to the end of the string members 4. The length of the string material 4 is adjusted so that all the handle parts 1 protrude somewhat from the slope. The fixed part 3 consists of a horizontal tube 5 and a connecting tube 6. The horizontal cylinders 5 are vertically separated and buried inside the slope, and one end is connected to the connecting cylinder 6. An elastic member 2 is connected to the upper end of the connecting tube 6. The string material 4 is inserted through the connecting tube 6 and into the horizontal tube 5, and the hand portion 1 for handling is connected to the tip. In a life preserver having this structure, when the handle 1 at the lower end is grasped and pulled out, the handle 1 at the upper stage is pulled out together. Therefore, the user can conveniently climb up the slope by grasping the handles 1 of the upper steps one after another. Furthermore, in the life preserver shown in FIG. 3, the handle portion 1 is connected to a fixing portion 3 via an elastic member 2 that is elastically curved. The elastic material 2 may be a thin rod material that is elastically curved like a fishing rod, such as a synthetic resin reinforced with glass wool or carbon fiber. Moreover, a relatively thick rubber-like elastic body can also be used. In this life preserver, when the handle 1 is grasped by hand, the elastic material 2 bends as shown by the chain line in the figure to prevent instantaneous application of excessive force. That is, the deflection of the elastic material acts as a buffer.
