TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to cosmetic additives, and more particularly to cosmetic additives having ultraviolet shielding ability. Conventionally, cosmetic additives with UV-shielding ability have included UV absorbers such as benzophenones, benzotriazoles, salicylic acid esters, and cyanoacrylates, and free pigments such as methane dioxide, iron oxide, and barium sulfate. However, when using cosmetics containing the above-mentioned ultraviolet absorbers, skin rashes may occur due to irritation caused by the ultraviolet absorbers themselves or by extremely irritating transient compounds generated by absorbing ultraviolet energy. , stains, etc. were caused. In addition, when using cosmetics containing inorganic pigments, they block not only ultraviolet rays but also visible light, and because they are opaque, the color of the inorganic oxide itself is different from the color of the skin, leaving a thick and dull appearance.
There are drawbacks such as making the makeup look cakey and lacking in adhesion and spreadability to the skin, and there have been no UV-shielding additives that are highly practical. The present inventors have discovered that by adding algae extract as a cosmetic, it is possible to effectively block ultraviolet rays without causing the above-mentioned adverse effects, and it has excellent transparency, has a soft texture and texture, and is resistant to sebum. We discovered that it has excellent affinity, prevents it from lifting from the skin, has excellent press filling properties, and has good makeup durability.
The present invention has now been completed. "Algae" applicable in the present invention
What is "Basics of Plant Systematic Classification" edited by Takao Yamagishi, 1977
Published by Hokuryukan, published by Zukan Co., Ltd., May 15th, 2nd edition, pages 82-82.
It refers to the algae described on page 134, and is referred to as, for example, algae belonging to the phylum Cyanophyta, Rhodophyta, Chlorophyta, Orangephycea, Phaeophyceta, and Chlorophyceta. Among the blue-green algae, algae belonging to the genera Anacystis, Racenmo, Anabaena, and Amanita are preferred; among the red algae, algae belonging to the genera Chinolimo, Amanori, and Amanita are preferred; Among the plant phyla, algae belonging to the genus Cocinodisuchus, genus Skeletonema, genus Ceratopsium, and genus Polygonum are preferred. Also, within the phylum Orangephyta,
Algae belonging to the genera Exviera and Amphidiyum; algae belonging to the genera Mozuku, Laminaria, Wakame, and Macrocysteis in the phylum Phaeophyceae; Algal bodies belonging to each genus are preferred. In the present invention, methods for obtaining extracts from algae include mechanically obtaining the extract by crushing and squeezing the algae;
There is a method of extraction using an organic solvent, and the extraction method is preferred. Examples of organic solvents used include:
There are alcohols such as methyl alcohol and ethyl alcohol, ethers such as ethyl ether and methyl ethyl ether, ketones such as acetone and methyl ethyl ketone, and esters such as methyl acetate and ethyl acetate. Ethyl ether, acetone, methyl acetate, and ethyl acetate are preferred. In addition, the algae extract as used in the present invention is a substance obtained from algae cells by the above-mentioned extraction method, and its components are not completely clear, but mainly include chlorophyll, carotenoids, and It is known that it contains photosynthetic pigments such as phycopyrin. An example is Senedesmus.
The composition extracted with ethyl alcohol is 12.5% protein, 3.39% chlorophyll A, 1.25% chlorophyll B, and 6.8% total carotene, and its light transmittance by wavelength is shown in Figure 1. The cosmetics referred to in the present invention are not particularly limited and can be applied to any cosmetics. Examples of these cosmetics include emulsions, cold creams, punishing creams, cleansing creams, foundations, lotions, and basic cosmetics such as packs, pomades, liquid hair products, hair creams, perfume oils, ticks, hair tonics, and hair care products. Hair cosmetics such as sprays and setting lotions, whitening powders, solid whitening powders, lipsticks, blushers, eyebrow ink, eyelash cosmetics, eye makeup and finishing cosmetics such as nail polishes, fragrance cosmetics such as perfumes and colognes, There are medicated cosmetics such as medicated creams, medicated lotions, medicated hair tonics, and hair dyes, among which basic cosmetics and fragrance cosmetics are preferred. There are no particular regulations regarding the amount of algae extract to be added to cosmetics, and it may be adjusted as appropriate depending on the purpose of each cosmetic product, but it is generally 1 mg% to 10%, preferably 20 mg% to 5%, and more preferably 20 mg% to 5%. Preferably 50 mg% to 3
It is desirable to adjust the amount within the range of %. The cosmetics of the present invention have improved the following problems that were considered to be harmful in conventional ultraviolet absorbing cosmetics. Skin irritation such as rashes and spots that often occur with cosmetics containing UV absorbers no longer occur. This eliminates the problems that often occur with cosmetics containing inorganic pigments, such as thick, flaky makeup and lack of adhesion and spreadability to the skin. Affinity was significantly improved. The present invention will be specifically explained below using Examples. Examples 1 to 3 (Preparation of algae extract) 1) Cultivation of algae (1) Prepare one Pascher medium,
Aliquot this into 3 culture flasks, and
After partial pressure sterilization and the solution reached room temperature, it was aseptically inoculated with Chlorophyta, Chlorococciformes, Coelastomidae, Scenedesmus genus, and Scenedesmus quadricauda. Air passes through 1/min, (28±1)℃,
The cells were cultured for 6 days under fluorescent light (3000 lux) for 16 hours and darkness for 8 hours. This culture bottle will be designated as No. 1. (2) Aliquot Bristol medium 1 into 3 culture flasks, sterilize and cool in the same manner as in (1). pyrenoidosa) inoculated aseptically,
Culture was carried out in the same manner as in (1). This culture bottle will be designated as No. 2. (3) Allen-Arnon medium 1
was divided into 3 culture flasks, sterilized and cooled in the same manner as in (1), and then aseptically inoculated with cyanobacterial algae, Alecroptera, Alecroptaceae, Anabaena genus, and Anabeana spiroicles.
Culture was carried out in the same manner as in (1). This culture bottle will be designated as No. 3. 2) Preparation of algae extract: Centrifuge each solution in culture bottles No. 1 to No. 3 (3.000 rpm x 15 minutes), homogeneously suspend the precipitated algae in sufficient absolute ethyl alcohol, The extraction work was carried out after the pigments contained in the algae were completely extracted. Next, the ethyl alcohol solution was distilled under reduced pressure at room temperature to obtain paste-like algal body extracts of Examples 1 to 3 with a solid content of 30% from culture bottles No. 1 to 3, respectively. Reference Examples 1 to 3 and Comparative Reference Examples 1 to 2 (Preparation and evaluation of cosmetics) (1) Preparation of cream The oil phase components shown in Table 1 were heated and mixed at 80°C, and then prepared in advance. Neutral cream bases for testing were prepared by adding purified water, sodium cetyl sulfate, and propylene glycol solution little by little, and were used in Reference Examples 1 to 3 and Comparative Reference Examples 1 to 1, respectively.
It was set as 2.
