BACKGROUND ART In recent years, the number of households that display potted plants indoors has been increasing significantly. The most important thing to do when managing potted plants is watering them. That is,
If you forget to water, the plant will naturally wither, but if it gets too wet, the roots will rot and the plant will die. Most common failures are due to overwatering. In addition, when potted plants are hung from the ceiling, etc., it is easy to overwater because you cannot see the soil surface, which collects in the pot's saucer and overflows, staining the floor and carpet. It was easy for such mistakes to occur.

The volume of the water storage container 1 is set to approximately match the amount of soil moisture consumed in the pot to which the present invention is attached, so that when the water in the water storage container 1 runs out, , which is configured to serve as a guideline for watering the pot. By the way, the amount of soil water consumed is closely related to the temperature; when the temperature is high, water dissipation from the soil surface and plant leaves increases, and when the temperature is low, water dissipation decreases. . Therefore, the amount of water stored in the water storage container 1 must be adjusted to always match the amount of soil moisture consumed in the pot.

Normally, the amount of water consumed in the pot is 2 to 2 in the summer.
It differs depending on the season, as it is necessary to replenish it every 3 days, every 3 to 4 days in spring and autumn, and every 4 to 5 days in winter. Therefore, the summer water level, that is, 2

In FIG. 5, reference numeral 3 denotes a band-shaped water guide material made of gauze or the like, which is raised from the bottom of the water storage container 1 along its inner wall, guided outward through the groove 1a, and is guided outward through the cut groove 1a. The tip is long enough to come into contact with a desired location so that the upper edge 2b of the handle-like piece 2, which exhibits a gentle downward slope, can be adjusted as desired, such as upward or downward. The water conducting material 3
The function is to suck up the water in the water storage container 1 from one end based on capillary phenomenon and let it drip from the other end and release it into the pot A, and to dissipate the water contained in the water conducting material 3 based on evaporation. Based on both of these functions, it plays a role in causing water in the water storage container 1 to be lost. By adjusting the length of the water conducting material 3, the above-mentioned capillary material 3 is arranged so that the time for losing water in the water storage container 1 matches the time for losing soil moisture in the pot A. It is designed to adjust the release action based on phenomena and the dissipation action based on evaporation. The rate of water loss in the water storage container 1 depends on the length of the non-submerged portion of the water guide material 3 and the difference between the tip position of the water guide material 3 and the water level in the water storage container 1. (The former is caused by a change in the evaporation surface, and the latter is caused by a change in the speed of capillary action due to a water level difference.) Therefore, the contact position of the tip of the water guide material 3 with the upper edge 2b of the handle piece 2 may be adjusted upward or downward, etc. Water storage container 1 depending on the setting
Allows for fine-tuning of water loss rate. That is, the fine adjustment for matching the water loss time of the pot A and the water storage container 1 is performed based on the drawer length of the water guide material 3.

Reference numeral 4 is a spherical float housed in the water storage container 1, and is appropriately colored such as red to enable clear confirmation of changes in the water level in the water storage container.

The present invention has the above-mentioned configuration, and as shown in FIG.
The water storage container 1 is filled with water. Incidentally, the water amount adjustment is performed using the water level display line 1b depending on the season.

In this state, as the soil moisture in the pot A is consumed, the water in the water storage container 1 also flows into the water conducting material 3 as described above.
The water level gradually decreases until the spherical float 4 reaches the bottom of the container.

This point indicates that it is time to water pot A, so if you supply water to pot A and at the same time replenish water storage container 1, you can check the next watering time again. Preparations will be made.

Fine adjustment according to the size of the pot to which the present invention is attached is performed depending on the length and tip position of the non-submerged part of the water guide material 3 as described above, but usually, depending on the size of the pot. does not significantly affect the rate of water consumption.

According to the present invention described in detail above, it is extremely easy to check when to water potted plants, so for example, you can forget to water and cause the plant to wither, or you can prevent root rot from watering more frequently than necessary. This will completely eliminate any worries that may arise.
In addition, the present invention allows fine adjustment to match the water loss time in the pot with the water loss time in the water storage container 1 as appropriate based on the length of the drawer of the water guide material 3. Achievement of good watering indications will be allowed.

Furthermore, since the present invention is an independent structure that has nothing to do with the pot, and its construction is extremely simple, it is significantly less expensive than, for example, a structure that is built into the pot itself. Not only can it be manufactured, but it can also be applied immediately to pots on hand.

As described above, the present invention has a simple structure and has excellent practical effects, so its utility value is extremely high.
