Conventional technology Conventionally, railroad crossings, which are both part of the general road and part of the track, have been constructed by arranging a large number of wooden railroad crossing members, such as wooden sleepers, and fixing the sleepers with screw bolts. A road surface is being constructed within the track. In addition, as shown in Fig. 8, a level crossing is constructed by placing a buffer material made of wood C in the area where the main rail A and the guard rail B come into contact, and placing concrete flat plates D in the other road surface areas.

Problems that the invention aims to solve: Because railroad crossings are both part of the general road and part of the tracks, careful maintenance is required, and work such as replacing the tracks or compacting crushed stones on the roadbed is required. The condition is that it can be done easily. At railroad crossings, where many wooden sleepers are arranged to form the road surface, it is easy to remove the railroad ties that form the crossing surface when replacing the track. The problem is that the road surface becomes rattled due to rapid wear and corrosion caused by the passage of vehicles, making it more likely to cause accidents at railroad crossings. Furthermore, in the level crossing shown in Figure 8, a gap l is created between the concrete plates D and D that form the road surface by the thickness of the mounting brackets E and F that support the concrete plates, so rainwater flows from the gap into the ballast. It penetrates into the roadbed formed by the soil, loosening the ground and causing damage.
Additionally, there are other problems such as the base being easily damaged due to poor cushioning properties.

Means for Solving the Problems In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, this invention forms a base material in the shape of a rectangular prism from plastic, and connects one wooden end surface of the base material vertically so that the upper end touches the head of the rail. A sloped wall is chamfered so that the lower end surface touches the base of the rail, and the lower edge of the sloped wall is cut to the thickness of an L-shaped mounting bracket provided on the trackbed for fixing the rail. A notch is formed to fit with the type mounting bracket, and the lower end corner of the other side wood end face is cut by the thickness of the T-shaped mounting bracket provided in the center of the track bed.
forming a notch that fits with the T-shaped mounting bracket, and providing a groove in the bottom of the base material between the two notches,
This is a railroad crossing member in which a plurality of through holes communicating with the upper surface of the base material are provided at predetermined locations within the groove.

Function The wooden end surface on one side of the rectangular prism-shaped base is in contact with one side of the main rail or the guard rail, and the upper vertical wall of the wooden end surface on one side is the top of the rail, and the one side of the sloped wall formed with a chamfer is connected to the head of the rail. The lower part of the wood end surface contacts the base of the rail and is similar to a conventional buffer member, while the other wood end surface is similar to a tread plate. In addition, the lower surface of the base material is formed with a notch that fits into the L-shaped mounting bracket for fixing the rail and the T-shaped mounting bracket for fixing the railroad crossing surface, which are fixed to the track bed.
By fitting the notch and each of the mounting fittings, the railroad crossing member is stabilized, and no gap is created between the two railroad crossing members.

At the lower end edge 2b of the inclined wall of the wood end surface 2 formed by chamfering the wood end surface 2, a notch 6 is formed by cutting the wall thickness of the L-shaped mounting bracket 5 for fixing the rail fixed to the track bed. . On the other hand, a notch 8 is formed in the lower end corner 3a of the other wooden end surface 3 of the base material 1 to fit with a T-shaped mounting bracket 7 for fixing the railroad crossing surface fixed to the center of the track bed. The notch 8 is cut by the thickness of the T-shaped mounting bracket 7. Further, a groove 9 is provided on the lower surface of the base material 1 between the notch 6 and the notch 8. A through hole 10 communicating with the upper surface 1c of the base material is provided at a fixed location within this groove 9. This groove makes it easier to carry during transportation.

Effects Since this invention has the above-mentioned configuration, compared to the conventional one, there is no need to prepare two types of members: the buffer material placed on the rail side and the level crossing sill plate forming the roadway. All you have to do is place the railroad crossing components, which simplifies the construction work.

In addition, since there is no gap between the level crossing members, rainwater is prevented from penetrating into the ground surface of the level crossing, which is part of the general road surface and also part of the track, from the gap. By preventing the ground from softening, it is possible to prevent road surface irregularities caused by vehicle traffic.
