て上昇した給紙位置において前記給紙部により該
シート積載台のシートを上部から順次給送する給
紙装置において、 前記使用位置と前記開放位置との間に存在する
障害物を検知する障害物検知手段を有し、前記移
動手段により前記積載ユニツト部を移動中に前記
障害物検知手段が障害物を検知したときは、前記
移動手段による移動を停止することを特徴とする
給紙装置。 (2) 前記障害物検知手段は障害物が人体である
ときにこれを検知する人体検知手段を有し、該人
体検知手段が人体を検知したとき、前記障害物検
知手段が障害物を検知し前記人体検知手段が人体
を検知していないときとで、相互に異なつた表示
を表示部に発生させることを特徴とする請求項１
