やオイルパン等のエンジンのカバーにはシリンダ
ブロツクからの振動が伝えられ、これによつて騒
音を発生するという欠点があり、この騒音を低減
するために実開昭56−85050号公報で低減手段が
提案されている。これはオイルパン等の壁の平面
部にスリツト等の孔を形成すると共にそのスリツ
トに弾性部材を充填させ、スリツトによる振動の
伝達の阻止と充填材による振動の吸収を図つたも
のである。そしてこの弾性部材は貫通したスリツ
トの両側を膨出させて膨出部でスリツトの周縁部
を狭持し、シールを行なうようにしているが、膨
出部を大きく設定するとスリツトへの取付けが困
難になり、また膨出部を小さくするシールが不完
全になりやすいという欠点があり、取付けやすさ
とシール性とを両立させることはできなかつた。

形成され、スリツト5にはゴムなどの弾性材料か
らなる充填材(弾性部材)6が充填されてシール
がなされている。充填材6はスリツト5の内外両
側に膨出部61,62を有し、この部分でスリツ
ト5の周縁部を狭みつけるようにしている。また
充填材6の内側面には押圧部材7が圧着され、こ
れによつて膨出部61が側壁3に圧着され、確実
なシールがなされるようにしている。なお、押圧
部材による押圧は充填材の膨出の大きい側から行
なうのが好ましい。

能であり、さらにスリツト以外の穴(丸穴等)に
ついても同様に適用可能である。また、押圧部材
はカバーのフランジとエンジンにボルト等により
共締めし、これによつて充衛材を押圧させるよう
にしてもよい。
