However, when performing the undercoating and topcoating, if the object to be coated is, for example, the case 1 of the transformer, the case 1 has a hanger seat 2 on its outer surface, as shown in FIG. 1A. , 3, a protective cover 17 for the bushing, a lifting and tightening seat 18, and a grounding terminal 20 are provided protrudingly. Since the electrodeposition coating is carried out by applying the electrodeposition coating, the inner part of the case 1 which is not exposed to the surface can be sufficiently coated with the undercoat. However, as shown in FIGS. 1A and 1B, the ground terminal 20 attached to the lower part of the surface of the case 1
has an insertion hole 22 for the ground wire 21, and a hole 22 for the ground wire 21.
A screw hole 24 for a tightening screw 23 for fastening 1 to the grounding terminal 20 is bored, and these holes 22, 2
If the 4 part is not covered by some means, a paint film will form and the grounding wire 21 will not be able to be inserted, or even if it can be inserted, the paint film will prevent it from connecting to the ground terminal 20. It was not possible to establish a good connection. For this reason, it is necessary to wrap adhesive tape around the circumferential surface of the ground terminal 20 or use a plug to close the hole portion 20.
2 and 24, but in the former case, the adhesive on the tape melts during degreasing or electrodeposition, and most of the tape itself peels off, making it unable to function as a blocker. Each time the painting process is performed,
Since the plugs were attached to and removed from the hole portions 22 and 24 one by one, it was time-consuming to do so, or they could fall off due to vibration during transportation, for example, blocking the nozzle for spouting the solvent in the paint tank 10. In addition, handling the capper is time-consuming and requires extreme care, as it makes electrodeposition coating difficult.

Before hanging the case 1 on the conveyor device 6, attach the conductive latch 30 to the screw hole 2 of the ground terminal 20 provided at the bottom of the case 1 using its threaded part 33.
Screw on 4. After this, as shown in Figure 2,
The latching portion 4a of the hanger 4 is engaged with the engagement hole 31 of the latching fitting 30, and the suspension chain 5 is attached to the lifting/clamping seats 18, 18 on the head side of the case 1 or the mounting hole of the bushing (not shown). The rod-shaped hanger 34 is hung by hanging or wrapping around the two hangers 4,
34 is hung from the hanging fitting 7 of the conveyor device 6,
As shown in FIG. 2, the case 1 is suspended on the conveyor device 6 with the bottom slightly raised and laid down on its side. In this state, if you hold the spring clip 25 in your hand and press the operating parts 27 in the direction in which they can be pinched together as shown in FIG. . That is, the interval between the earplugs 29, 29 is widened. In this way, by operating the spring clip 25, the earplugs 29, 29 are attached to the fourth earplugs 29 on both sides of the insertion hole 22 of the ground terminal 20.
When the earplugs 29, 29 are approached as shown in the figure and the pressure on the operating section 27 is gradually released, the small diameter side of the earplugs 29, 29 can be tightly fitted into the insertion hole 22, as shown in FIG. After confirming that the earplugs 29, 29 have been fitted into the insertion holes 22, and removing the hand from the operating section 27,
The spring clip 25 has its own spring action.
As shown in the figure, the ear plugs 29 can be attached to the ground terminal 20 in a state where they are fitted into the insertion holes 22 of the ground terminal 20. By attaching the earplugs 29, 29 and the hook 30 to the ground terminal 20 in this manner, the insertion hole 22 is completely sealed from the outside, and no paint film is formed due to intrusion of paint. Attach the spring clip 25 to the ground terminal 20 as described above.
After installing, by driving the conveyor device 6,
In case 1, as in the past, electrodeposition coating is performed after pretreatment such as degreasing, pure water showering, and drying. Note that since the case 1 is suspended on the conveyor device 6 via the hangers 4 and 34, the case 1 is conveyed while swinging like a swing during conveyance.
The hook part 4a at the lower end of the hanger 4 that engages with the hanger 4 is constantly in sliding contact with the sharp protrusion 31a provided in the engagement hole 31, so that paint adhering to this part can be peeled off smoothly and well. Can be used during electrodeposition coating,
The case 1 can be energized satisfactorily.
Furthermore, since the insertion hole 22 of the grounding terminal 20 is completely sealed with an ear plug 29 that utilizes the spring action of the spring clip 25, the case 1 is fully immersed in the electrodeposition paint 9 and the electrodeposition coating is applied. Even if you do this, the ground terminal 2
No coating film is formed within the area.

Next, the case of applying top coat will be explained. Since the top coat is applied only to the outer surface of the case 1, the case 1 is stood up and attached to the conveyor device 6 by a hanging chain 35, as shown in FIG.
be hung on. In this case, the latch fitting 30 screwed onto the ground terminal 20 is temporarily removed from the ground terminal 20 in order to prevent the paint film from becoming thicker due to adhesion of the top coat. Then, as shown in FIGS. 9 and 10, a truncated cone-shaped plug 36 made of the same material as the earplug 29 is inserted into the screw hole 24 of the ground terminal 20 from which the latch 30 has been removed. A portion is press-fitted so as to be screwed into the threaded part of the screw hole 24, and in this state, the conveyor device 6 is driven to convey the case 1 to a top coating device (not shown), and the top coat is applied to the outer surface of the case 1. Spray and apply top coat. In this case as well, since the spring clip 25 and plug 36 are attached to the ground terminal 20, paint will not enter the ground terminal 20 and form a coating film.

(2) Also, when applying electrodeposition to the object to be painted, the latching metal fitting that is screwed into the screw hole of the ground terminal is used not only to prevent paint from entering, but also to suspend the object to be painted and to use the terminal metal fitting when energizing. In addition, a sharp protrusion is provided around the engagement hole where the hanger engages, and the vibration generated during transport of the case is used to remove the paint at the sliding contact area with the hanger. Since it is configured so that it can be easily peeled off, the electrodeposition coating process of the object to be coated can be carried out smoothly and favorably.

(3) Furthermore, the spring clip can be easily manufactured by simply bending a metal material with excellent elasticity such as a steel wire, and the earplugs can be made by cutting a member with excellent heat resistance and elasticity. It is only necessary to process the head into a conical shape and fasten it, making it possible to mass-produce it and manufacturing it at low cost.In addition, it only needs to be handled in the same way as a normal clip, and it can be used with small diameters. It can be easily locked and stored using the locking part, and the operator can use it easily and reliably without having to take special precautions. On top of that,
Ear plugs and plugs used for topcoating are made of water-repellent material, so paint does not easily adhere to them.
Fitting and removing the ground terminal into the insertion hole can be easily performed.
