(従来の技術)
最近、屋根等の防水加工法として、巾方向の両側部に立
ち上げ部を有するステンレス鋼板を順次立ち上げ部を溶
接によって連結し、屋根全体を葺設する工法が多く見ら
れるが、この工法によってステンレス鋼板を溶接すると
き、溶接熱によってステンレス鋼板に歪を生じ、この歪
によってステンレス鋼板が波打ったようになり、意匠的

よる手絞り加工法、平坦な面部を曲面に加工してフラン
ジを立てる加工法、成形機で曲げる瓦棒方式等があるが
、これらの方法によって弯曲成形を行なうと、立上り部
の頂辺には引張曲げ応力が、又、その底辺には圧縮曲げ
応力がそれぞれ作用し、得られた曲面はその底辺に変形
歪が発生し、前述と同様に意匠性が悪く、また施工法も

て、種々検討した結果、本発明を完成したもので、本発
明の目的は、曲げ成形が自動的に、且つ連続的に作業で
き、しかも、得られた加工面に歪の発生の少ない曲面加

本発明の要旨は、巾方向の両側部に立上り部を有す長尺
被覆金属板を、長手方向に弯曲成形を行なう曲面加工機
において、該被覆金属板の両側部の立上り部近傍の平坦
部を一対の押さえロールで押さえながら該押さえロール
の内側に設けられた成形ロール群によって立上り部と並
列に、断面形状が台形状の凸状部を形成すると共に、被
覆金属の長手方向を連続的に一連の曲げロールにて被覆
金属板の平坦部を押圧して弯曲成形を行なうようにした

ルシャフトTには成形ロール3がそれぞれ内側に設けら
れている。押さえロール1.1’の間隙に挿入された被
覆金属板は、押さえロール1.1’及び成形ロール2に
拘束されて、立上り部B、平坦部G及び斜線部Eからな
る下向き台形を作る。又、同時に成形ロール2及び3に
より平坦部C1斜線部り、E及び被覆金属板の平坦部A
が形成され、先の下向き臼型と共に凸状部゛を形成する

大きな歪を生ずることなく、曲げ加工を行うことができ
、従って、ステンレス鋼板によって弯曲した屋根の防水
加工に当っても、何等意匠的に外観を害することなく容
