Abstract

PURPOSE:To store a large amount of water without a need of posts, etc., in a vast area in the earth by a method wherein a honeycomb drum assembly formed by a lot of partition walls is built in an underground water reservoir with a bottom, water passages are provided at lower portion, and a filter material is laid over the assembly and covered with earth. CONSTITUTION:A filter material 4 right below an earth layer 5 has a water permeability and a filtration effect, and unwoven or woven fabric of natural or synthetic fiber can be used satisfactorily. A honeycomb drum assembly 3 is built under the filter layer. For one example of the drum honeycomb assembly, lateral panels 13 and longitudinal panels 14 are jointed crosswise to form a latticed drum assembly, and the square area on top of a drum is about 1cm<2>-25cm<2> preferably. Water passages 15 are provided at lower portions of the assembly 3. However, it is not necessary to provide the water passages on all the partition walls which form a drum, but at least a passage for every drum is required and must be connected to a drain 8.

However, in recent years, there has been a boom in the construction of golf courses and the construction of resort areas, etc. along with the development of the Japanese economy, and a large amount of water has become necessary in addition to the conventional use of water. Golf courses require a large amount of water to grow grass, and various grounds such as stadiums and tennis courts at resorts also require a large amount of water to maintain their condition. On the other hand, in areas with poor drainage, such as grounds and golf courses, underground drainage pipes and the like are constructed to remove rainwater and surplus underground water.

Golf courses and resort gardens and grounds require watering for their lawns and plants, so they build ponds and water storage areas, but the water in the ponds evaporates rapidly in the summer, and there is little rain. There is a limit to the amount that can be used, especially at certain times of the year. Furthermore, the reality is that it is impossible to build ponds that are too large, even from the standpoint of economical land use. On the other hand, there was a problem in that culvert drainage equipment had to be installed in low-lying areas, grounds, golf courses, etc. with poor drainage. In addition, the water discharged from these drainage facilities is often discharged directly into rivers7, and there is a problem in that tap water must be used when water is needed for plants, lawns, etc.

In addition, in recent years, most roads and parking lots in urban areas as well as in the suburbs have been covered with concrete or asphalt, and rainwater that falls on the ground flows directly from side gutters into small rivers without seeping into the ground. As a result, small rivers often flood during periods of heavy rainfall.

Furthermore, when wells are dug on remote islands, seawater often mixes with the water, making it unusable for drinking water. Also, even if you install a rainwater storage tank on the ground, it is easy for garbage to get in, and the sun's rays can get in, causing green sores to grow, and in the summer, when the water temperature rises, the rotten water can cause riboflora. According to the configuration of the present invention, surface water permeates the earth and sand, passes through the filter material, and accumulates in the water tank. In other words, rainwater that falls on the ground surface of grounds, golf courses, etc. permeates into the ground. Even with a large amount of water, the cylindrical aggregate formed by many partition walls has a very large capacity, so it does not become full in a short time. The surface is similar to that provided with culvert drainage equipment, which prevents water from forming on the surface or making the ground soft, and can be used without having to wait for a long time when the rain stops.

In addition, since the water permeates through the earth and sand and is stored through the filter material, it can be reused without dirt getting in or the water spoiling. Furthermore, in places where the surface of the earth is kept clean, the device of the present invention can sufficiently secure drinking water, and it is particularly suitable for use as salt-free water on remote islands. That is, according to the configuration of the present invention, since there is a bottomed water storage tank, spring water from underground does not enter, and therefore, there is no inflow of salt or the like. In addition, because there is a cylindrical aggregate formed by many partition walls on top of a bottomed water tank, the cylindrical aggregate will not be partially buried, and the ground surface will remain stable. It is something that can be done.

Further, 5 is an earth and sand layer, in which sand and soil are filled on top of the filter material 4. Note that the earth and sand layer 5 is not particularly limited as long as it is made of pebbles, sand, or soil, but preferably it is laminated in the order of a pebble layer, a sand layer, and a soil layer containing sand. The thickness of the soil layer is preferably about 30 cm to 1500 cm. Furthermore, if the water in the water storage tank 6 is to be used as drinking water, it is necessary to make the soil layer 5 thicker, and if a layer of activated carbon or the like is formed, odor in the soil can be eliminated and more desirable water can be obtained. .

FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing an example of the cylindrical assembly 3 used in the present invention, in which a horizontal plate 13 and a vertical plate 4 are combined to form a lattice-shaped tube. The area of one square on the top surface is preferably about 1 cm" to 25 cm". Further, the thickness of the horizontal plate and the vertical plate is 0.2 mm to 1 mm, and may be thin when the grid is small. The larger the grid, the thicker the board needs to be. The height of the cylindrical assembly is approximately 50 cm to 120 cm. The height is not particularly limited, but if it is too high, the entire structure will bend, which may cause depressions on the ground surface, so it is desirable that the height is 150 cm or less.

Further, a water flow gap 15 is provided below the aggregate 3. This was provided to allow water to move horizontally, and when each cylindrical body is full of water, it is necessary to drain the water in the tank, or by watering etc. This is to enable the movement of water when water is required. Therefore, it goes without saying that it is better for the water flow interval 15 to be located as low as possible in the cylindrical body. Further, although it is not necessary to provide the water channel in all the partition walls constituting the cylindrical body, the water channel must be connected to the water outlet 8 at least in one place. Also, the bottom of the water tank is the outlet 8.
It is preferred to have a slight flow gradient towards.

In FIG. 1, rainwater falling on the earth's surface 2 is absorbed by the earth and sand layer 5, passes through the filter material 4, and slowly flows into a large number of cylindrical bodies. The flowing water passes through the drain 8 and is temporarily stored in the wood removal tank 7, but the water level in the tank 7 is lower than the water level at the outlet 8.
As the water rises higher, it is stored in the cylindrical aggregate 3. Therefore, by looking at the water level of the ice outlet N7, it is possible to see at a glance how far in the cylindrical aggregate the water has accumulated.

FIG. 3 is a perspective view showing another embodiment of the cylindrical assembly 3 used in the present invention, and 4 indicates a filter material. The aggregate 3 is an integrally molded synthetic resin body and has a honeycomb shape. Such molded bodies are manufactured by, for example, Japanese Patent Publication No. 62-208.
This is obtained by a device such as No. 86. A water flow gap 15 is provided below the honeycomb-shaped aggregate 3. In the case of integral molding, even if the partition wall surface is extremely thin, it has high pressure resistance in the vertical direction, so a lighter and more preferable assembly can be obtained, but it also has the disadvantage that it is difficult to obtain one with a high height or a large area.

As is clear from the above explanation, it has two major effects: it is possible to drain water that has accumulated on the ground surface, and at the same time, it is possible to use water in the underground water tank when necessary.

In other words, when it rains a lot, golf courses, competition grounds, parks, etc. become unusable for more than 24 hours without drainage facilities, but according to the structure of the present invention, rainwater on the surface is drained underground. The water passes through the sediment layer, then through the filter layer, and is stored in the cylindrical aggregate. Therefore, there is an advantage that water does not always accumulate on the ground surface, and it can be used in a short time after it rains. Moreover, since the cylindrical assembly has a large number of partition walls, the compressive strength in the vertical direction is extremely large and it will not be crushed.

Another advantage is that the water collected in the water tank can be used for watering for growing plants. In addition, in remote islands, underground water cannot be used for drinking or watering plants because it is contaminated with salt, but the device of the present invention has a water tank with a bottom.
There is no contamination of groundwater containing salt water and the like, and since rainwater passes through the soil layer and filter layer, it has the effect of providing good quality drinking water.
