The present invention relates to a solid erasing aid for erasing drawing marks and handwriting made with a water-soluble solid drawing material, particularly drawing marks and handwriting on uneven surfaces. Conventionally, by adding emulsified wax and a surfactant to a composition consisting of pigment, wax, and extender, drawing marks and handwriting (hereinafter simply referred to as drawing marks) can be wiped off with a cloth dampened with water. Erasable water-soluble solid drawing materials are known. However, when these water-soluble solid drawing materials are drawn or written on a smooth surface (hereinafter simply referred to as "drawing"), they can be almost completely erased, but when drawn on an uneven surface, the drawing material remains in the depressions and is not completely erased. It had a problem that it could not be erased. Therefore, increasing the amount of the emulsified wax and surfactant mentioned above may be considered, but increasing the amount of these may result in poor writing quality, increased hygroscopicity, and a sticky surface of the drawing material. Many properties of the drawing material deteriorate, such as the label blurring. Therefore, in order to solve the above problems, the present inventors have conducted extensive research and found that when erasing the drawing marks made by a water-soluble solid drawing material, the drawing marks are kneaded with an auxiliary agent that makes the drawing marks more water-soluble. The present invention was completed by discovering that drawing marks on uneven surfaces can be completely erased. That is, the present invention uses 55% of the total amount of erasing aid.
An erasing aid for water-soluble solid drawing materials characterized by comprising ~65% by weight of wax, 10-15% by weight of emulsified wax, 10-15% by weight of surfactant, and 15-20% by weight of conditioner. This article focuses on agents. It is not clear why the erasing aid of the present invention promotes the erasure of drawing marks of water-soluble solid drawing materials, especially drawing marks on uneven surfaces, but it is speculated as follows. By applying the erasing aid of the present invention on the drawing marks made by the water-soluble solid drawing material on the uneven surface and wiping it with a water-soaked cloth, the erasing aid can be added to the drawing material remaining in the depressions. The surfactant and emulsified wax inside dissolve using water as a medium, increasing the proportion of water-soluble components in the drawing material remaining in the depression, which weakens the adhesion of the drawing material in the depression to the material to be drawn. Become,
It is thought that erasing is facilitated because it is easily adsorbed to water-containing cloth. Next, each component of the erasing aid of the present invention will be explained. Wax is used as a shaping material, and specific examples include ketone wax and paraffin wax, and one type or a mixture of two or more of these can be used. The amount used must be 55 to 65% by weight based on the total amount of the erasing aid. This is because if the amount used is less than 55% by weight, the hardness of the erasing aid will be too high and it will be difficult to apply it, and if it exceeds 65% by weight, the hardness will be too low and it may break easily, or it may become difficult to apply. This is because it becomes difficult. Emulsified waxes are used to impart erasability to marks drawn by solid drawing agents, and specifically include long-chain monoethanolamide, long-chain diethanolamide, long-chain polyoxyethylene,
Examples include alkyl sulfonate, stearic acid, etc., and these can be used alone or in combination of two or more. The amount used is based on the total amount of erasing aid.
It is necessary that it be 10-15% by weight. this is,
If the amount used is less than 10% by weight, the erasing effect will be low, and if it exceeds 15% by weight, the surface of the erasing aid will become sticky. Surfactants are used to impart erasability to the marks drawn by solid drawing agents, and specifically include long-chain monoethanolamide-based activators, long-chain diethanolamide-based activators, and alkyl sulfate ester-based activators. These agents can be used alone or in combination of two or more. The amount used must be 10 to 15% by weight based on the total amount of the erasing aid. This means that the usage
If it is less than 10% by weight, the erasing effect will be low, and if it exceeds 15% by weight, the surface of the erasing aid will become sticky. Conditioning agents are used to help the disintegration of the erasing aid and improve coating performance, and specific examples include talc, light calcium carbonate, heavy calcium carbonate, etc. Can be used in combination with more than one species. The amount used should be 15 to 20% by weight based on the total amount of the erasing aid. This is because if the amount used is less than 15% by weight, the disintegrability will be insufficient and the coating performance will be low, and if it exceeds 20% by weight, the disintegration will be too high and will easily break, making it impractical. The solid erasing aid of the present invention is obtained by mixing the above-mentioned components, sufficiently melting and stirring, and molding the mixture into a shape suitable for use, such as a cylinder or a prism. Next, the present invention will be explained in detail according to examples. In the examples, "parts" indicate "parts by weight." Example 1 Ketone wax 50 parts Paraffin wax 10 parts Emulsifier wax (mixture of long-chain diethanolamide and long-chain polyoxyethylene) 10 Long-chain monoethanolamide activator 13 parts Talc 17 parts The above ingredients were mixed and 90~ The mixture was sufficiently melted and stirred at 95°C and molded to obtain a cylindrical solid erasing aid. Example 2 Ketone wax 50 parts Paraffin wax 12 parts Emulsified wax (mixture of alkyl sulfonate and stearic acid) 11 parts Alkyl sulfate ester activator 12 parts Talc 15 parts The above ingredients were prepared in the same manner as in Example 1. A cylindrical solid erasing aid was obtained. Table 1 shows the results of an erasing acceleration test for the solid erasing aids obtained in Examples 1 and 2.
