  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 軸方向に延びる１対のフルート溝４を形成した
    工具本体３の先端部分には、先端角αを有する先
    端切刃５が備えられるとともに、工具本体３の外
    周部分には、外周切刃１２を有するマージン１１
    およびガイドパツト８が備えられるようにした穴
    あけ工具において、 前記マージン１１は、回転方向を基準にしてそ
    のすくい面４ａ側の外周縁に沿つて先行する外周
    切刃１３および先端側のチヤンフア刃１４が形成
    されるように切欠段部１０を設け、しかも先行す
    る外周切刃１３の半径方向すくい角θがθ＝１０
    °〜２５°の範囲内で設定されるようにしたこと
    を特徴とする穴あけ工具。
