つた複写機2を示している。複写機2には2基の
給紙台3A,3Bが備えられていて、之に夫々記
録紙カセツト4A,4Bを装着し、必要に応じて
内部の記録紙Pを1枚宛搬出し、転写・定着した
のち排紙トレイ5に排出する。多数枚給紙ユニツ
ト1はこの給紙を増強するために設けたもので、
カセツトよりも更に多数枚の記録紙Pを内蔵し、
前記のカセツトと選択的に1枚宛の記録紙Pが搬
出される。搬出された記録紙Pは給紙通路6を通
り、トナー像を担持した感光体ドラム7に同期し
て接触し、トナー像の転写が行われたのち感光体
ドラム7から分離し、定着装置8によつてトナー
像の定着がなされて排紙トレイ5に排出される。
この多数枚給紙ユニツト1を付加的に設けること
によつて、複写機2はカセツトの交換を行うこと
なく、多数枚かつ多数サイズの複写を連続的に行
うことができる。
