For example, as shown in Fig. 7, blocks for abalone reefs include those in which a large number of wedge-shaped horizontally long grooves b are formed in parallel on the front and back surfaces of a thick-walled flat concrete block a, and as shown in Fig. 8. As shown, there is one in which concrete flat plates c are arranged radially and a large number of wedge-shaped horizontal grooves d are formed.

(c) Problems that the invention aims to solve However, it is said that abalone and turban shell prefer dark places such as behind rocks, and do not colonize rocky places with oysters, barnacles, algae, or places exposed to sunlight. Oysters, barnacles, and algae tend to grow in the above blocks, and abalone and turban shells have a hard time settling there.

(d) Means for solving the problem Therefore, in the present invention, a flat cylindrical body with openings at both ends is used, and the cross-sectional shape of the inner peripheral surface is also flat, and the inner peripheral surface is opened from the opening at one end. To provide a block for cultivating shellfish such as abalone and turban shellfish, which is formed into a tapered shape whose diameter is gradually reduced toward the opening at the other end, and the opening at the other end is formed to be equal to or smaller than a mature shellfish. This is what I am trying to do.

(e) Function/Effect In this invention, a block for cultivating shellfish such as abalone and turban shells is sunk into the seabed, and young shellfish are placed inside the block for culturing. Because it is formed into a tapered shape that gradually decreases in diameter from the opening at one end to the opening at the other end, sunlight does not enter the opening at the other end, which prevents moss, etc., which abalones and other animals like to eat. On the one hand, it is easy to attract oysters, barnacles, and algae that abalone and other animals avoid.
For this reason, abalone and turban shells prefer to settle in the same block and even spawn within the same block.

Moreover, since both ends are open, it is possible to ensure good fluidity of the seawater inside, and from this point of view as well, shellfish such as abalone will prefer to settle there and can be expected to multiply.

Moreover, abalones have a narrow home range of about 10 meters, and as they settle near their spawning grounds, they can be expected to multiply.

Furthermore, when putting in young shellfish or taking out mature shellfish, the hand is inserted from the large opening side and the shellfish are put in and taken out sequentially from the small opening side to the larger opening side. , if the small opening is made equal to or smaller than that of a mature shellfish,
Even if mature shellfish try to escape during harvesting, they cannot escape instantly from the small opening side, and the shellfish can be harvested reliably.

Furthermore, since such blocks are flat, if a large number of blocks are stacked one on top of the other and placed in place, they will not be washed away by ocean currents because of the large contact resistance between them.

(F) Example The example of the present invention will be explained in detail based on the drawings.
A shown in FIGS. 1 to 6 is a block for cultivating shellfish such as abalone and turban shell according to the present invention, and the block A is constructed as follows.

That is, the block A is a flat cylindrical body made of concrete and having a substantially diamond-shaped cross section in both the outer and inner shapes, and the inner flat cross-sectional shape is formed at the rear end opening 3.
It is formed gradually smaller toward the tip opening 2 (see Fig. 5). 1 is the inner peripheral surface.

The opening area of the tip opening 2 is determined in consideration of the size of the mature shellfish and the flow of seawater.

The embodiment of the present invention is constructed as described above, and when cultivating abalone, turban shell, etc. using the shellfish culture block A according to the present invention, the block A is used as shown in Fig. 6. Block A is sunk into the seabed, and young shellfish B and the like are placed in the internal space S of block A for cultivation.

At this time, since the inner space S of the block A is tapered at the tip, the inside of the tip side becomes completely dark, and the inner circumferential surface is easily covered with moss, etc., which abalone likes to eat. Because oysters, barnacles, and algae, which are repellent, do not attach, abalone and other species prefer to settle in Block A.

Furthermore, even if the block A moves on the seabed or falls over due to drought, typhoons, etc., since the block A is a flat cylindrical body, abalone etc. are unlikely to be ejected from the internal space S, making it easier to settle there. It is something.

Moreover, since the block A is open at both ends, the fluidity of the seawater inside can be ensured, and for this reason, shellfish such as abalone will prefer to settle there and can be expected to multiply.
