PURPOSE:To discriminate the propriety and the execution of a test efficiently by providing a means simulating a channel system, an input output means interfacing an electronic exchange, a means storing a test procedure, a test result and reference data, a means executing the test automatically and a means discriminating the result of the test. CONSTITUTION:An automatic test equipment 1 is connected to a central processing unit 4 via a system bus 2 and a man-machine interface line 3, and consists of a channel system input output means 5, a channel system simulating means 6, a man-machine interface input output means 7, a test procedure file 10, an automatic execution means 8, a test result file 11, a reference file 12 and a discrimination means 9.
