FIG. 4 is a front view of such a frame, in which a vehicle mounting bracket 12 is welded to an appropriate location on the front surface of a pipe frame 11 in which a pipe of a certain length is bent into a rectangular shape, and a vehicle mounting bracket 12 is welded to the rear surface of the pipe frame 11. A panel 13 is welded to.

First, each bracket 12 is brought into contact with the front surface of the pipe frame 11 at a predetermined position as shown in FIG. - The frame 11 and the bracket 12 are integrated to form a sub-assembly member 16. When this sub-assembly member 16 is formed, the panel 13 is a separate body.Next, the panel 13 is brought into contact with the back surface of the pipe frame 11 of the sub-assembly member 16, and spot welds 15 are applied at predetermined intervals.
The pipe frame 11 and the panel 13 are joined together by applying the following steps to integrate the pipe frame 11, the bracket 12, and the panel 13.

This is because the welding strength of the overlapping portion of the three parts is low, and peeling occurs from the overlapping portion. Therefore, conventional assembly requires two stages of welding: welding when forming the sub-assembly member and welding when joining the panel to the sub-assembly member, resulting in a large number of assembly steps, poor productivity, and Costs are rising.

In FIG. 1, a panel 1 is made of a rectangular metal plate, and a peripheral edge 1a is folded back to form a border. This panel 1 is opened at predetermined positions to form openings 2, 2, . . . . These openings 2, 2, .
A welding electrode 5 for welding is inserted. The pipe frame 4 consists of a frame body bent into a rectangular shape as shown in Fig. 6, and brackets 3, 3, . These three parts are then integrated by spot welding.
Therefore, each of the openings 2, 2, .

2 is a sectional view showing a state in which the bracket 3 and the pipe frame 4 are spot-welded by temporarily assembling the bracket 3 so that the bracket 3 is brought into contact with the back surface of the pipe frame 4 and the bracket 3 is brought into contact with the front surface of the pipe frame 4. FIG. The lower electrode 5 of the welding device is connected to the opening 2 of the panel 1.
The upper electrode 6 is inserted into the pipe frame 4 and is in contact with the bracket 3, while the lower electrode 5 is in contact with the bracket 3.
is located in overtime. Thereby, spot welding between the pipe frame 4 and the bracket 3 is performed with the three parts temporarily assembled. On the other hand, welding between the pipe frame 4 and the panel 1 is performed by sandwiching the pipe frame 4 and the panel 1. As a result, there is no need to create a sub-assembly member to weld the pipe frame 4 and bracket 3 as in the past, and the three parts can be integrated in a single welding process, reducing the number of welding processes. This improves productivity. In FIG. 3, 7 is a welded portion where the bracket 3 and pipe frame 4 are spot welded, and 8 is a welded portion where the pipe frame 4 and panel 1 are spot welded.
