(Prior Art) As shown in FIG. 1, a movable roof panel (hereinafter simply referred to as a roof panel) covers an opening hole 3 provided in the roof 2 of a vehicle body 1 so as to be able to open and close the opening hole 3.
Sunroof type automobiles equipped with 4 have already been put into practical use.

By the way, as a sealing structure between the edge 3a of the opening hole 3 of the roof 2 and the edge 4a of the roof panel 4, as shown in FIG.
The sealing member 5 of a and the sealing member 6 of the edge 4a of the roof panel 4 are brought into contact and sealed, and the gutter member 7 attached to the vehicle body 1 side is made to face below the joint sealing portion of both the sealing members 5 and 6. A method has been proposed (see Utility Model Application Publication No. 163018/1983).

However, since the conventional seal structure described above is a mere butt seal between the seal members 5 and 6,
When the sealing members 5 and 6 deteriorate over time and lose their elasticity, water leakage may occur. If water leaks, it can be caught by the gutter member 7, but the gutter member 7 is only for emergency use, and basically it is desirable that a complete seal can be achieved with only the seal members 5 and 6.

On the other hand, in a sunroof structure in which the roof panel is vertically displaced and then moved open, if the seal structure as described above is adopted, when the roof panel is closed, the seal member 6 on the roof panel side is attached to the edge of the roof side. Therefore, there is a problem that the sealing member is pressed downward, and the adhesion between the two sealing members is inhibited, resulting in poor sealing performance.

(Purpose of the invention) The purpose of the invention is to provide a sunroof in which a movable roof panel is vertically displaced and then opened, so that when the movable roof panel is closed, the sealing member is deformed by the roof edge. To provide a sunroof for an automobile employing a sealing structure capable of always maintaining good sealing performance even when exposed to water.

(Structure of the invention) Therefore, in the present invention, a movable roof panel is attached to an opening hole provided in the roof of the vehicle body, and the movable roof panel covers the opening hole so as to be openable and closable.
In an automobile sunroof that is moved downward and then opened, at least the edge of the movable roof panel is provided with both edges of the movable roof panel edge and the edge of the opening hole when the movable roof panel is closed. A first sealing member for sealing between the movable roof panel and the other edge thereof is provided below the joint sealing portion where the first sealing member and the other edge abut in a substantially horizontal direction. A sunroof for an automobile, characterized in that a second seal member is provided that contacts both of the other edge and presses both the first seal member and the other edge from inside the vehicle body outward. It provides:

(Effect of the invention) According to the invention, when the roof panel is lowered to close, even if the first seal member is pushed downward by the edge of the roof and tries to deform, the second seal member
Because it is pushed upward by the sealing member,
The deformation of the first seal member is restored and it comes into close contact with the edge of the roof, so good sealing performance is always maintained, and the second seal member elastically contacts the edge of the roof, resulting in a double seal. gender is ensured.

Inside the gutter member 10 is an inverted L-shaped bracket 11.
is located on the bracket 11 at the joint seal portion 9, and presses the joint seal portion 9, that is, the seal member 6 and the falling end 3b simultaneously from the inside to the outside when the roof panel 4A is closed. Insert the lower slit 12a of the weather strip (second seal member) 12 to attach it. Note that 13 is a weather strip provided at the end of the gutter member 10.

With the above configuration, when the roof panel 4A is closed, the weather strip 12 pushes up the joint seal portion 9, so that the seal member 6
At the same time, the weather strip 12 itself is pressed against the sealing member 6 and the falling end 3b of the opening hole 3, and is deformed into a flat shape so as to conform to both, so that the joint seal portion 9 doubles. This ensures good sealing performance. Unlike the seal member 6, the weather strip 12 is not directly exposed to rainwater, etc., and it is highly unlikely that it will deteriorate over time to the extent that it rots and loses its elasticity. gender will be maintained.

FIG. 4 shows a modification of the weather strip 12, in which a substantially trapezoidal bracket 14 is installed inside the gutter member 10, and the lower protrusion 12b of the weather strip 12', which has a rectangular cross section, is attached to the gutter member 10. It is installed by inserting it into the small hole 14a of the bracket 14. In this case, the falling end 3 of the edge 3a of the opening hole 3
