Traditionally, in raising paddy rice seedlings, the seeds are first prepared by gravity selection using salt water, followed by formalin,
Disinfect the rice by soaking it in a solution such as benomyl to kill rice blast bacteria, sesame leaf blight bacteria, etc. on the surface of the rice.
In addition, in order to uniformly germinate, a so-called soaking period is provided in which the rice seeds are soaked in water before sowing to allow them to fully absorb water, and then the seeds are sown in grain form to the seedlings.

The above-mentioned seed soaking period actually requires at least five days or more due to the low water absorption of paddy, and there was a disadvantage that it took time to sow. In addition, various types of bacteria easily adhere to and multiply on the surface of rice, that is, on the rice husk, and there is a concern that germination may be impaired if a sufficient disinfection effect is not obtained. Furthermore, as it requires the preparation of seeds as mentioned above, it is practically impossible to convert them into so-called seed sheets, which is practiced for vegetables and flowers.
There were problems in terms of workability and quality, such as the cumbersome handling involved in sowing.

Therefore, the purpose of this invention is to omit the soaking period for rice seeds, and to
It is easy to remove and disinfect adhering bacteria on the surface of paddy, there is little concern about germination problems, and it can be made into seed sheets in the same way as vegetables and flowers, which shortens the overall work period for seedling raising and improves workability. It is an object of the present invention to provide a seeding sheet for paddy rice that can be used for rice cultivation.

In order to address the above-mentioned problems, this invention has a seed form in which the rice husk, which can be called a barrier during seed soaking and disinfection, has been removed, and this also allows it to be made into a sheet.

That is, the seed form is changed from the conventional sowing in the seed rice state to the brown rice state in which the chaff is removed from the seed rice, and the paddy rice seeds in the brown rice state are covered with a water-soluble film to form a sheet structure.

With the structure described above, since the seeds are brown rice with good water absorption, even without a soaking period, watering after sowing can achieve the same water absorption effect as conventional seed soaking, just like with vegetables and flowers. Even when disinfecting, disease factors attached to rice husks can be eliminated, so a good disinfection effect can be obtained simply by mixing the chemical into irrigation water. In addition, since it can be made into a sheet similar to seed sheets for vegetables and flowers, it is highly workable, and since the seed soaking period can be omitted, cultivation is possible even during the critical period for late planting, and an increase in yield can be expected.

Figures 1 and 2 show an embodiment of the seeding sheet for paddy rice according to this invention, in which 1 and 2 are upper and lower water-soluble films made of polyvinyl alcohol, etc., and 3 is an upper layer and a lower layer of water-soluble films, respectively. These are paddy rice seeds in a brown rice state sandwiched between lower films 1 and 2. In this example, the water-soluble film is made of two layers, an upper layer and a lower layer, but it is also possible to use a single layer of water-soluble film and bury the paddy rice seeds 3 in the brown rice state in the layers.

Note that rice seeds (seed rice) may be converted to brown rice using conventional hulling methods (indera-hulling method, rotary huller, etc.) to avoid damaging the brown rice as much as possible.

As described above, the seeding sheet for paddy rice according to this invention removes the chaff from paddy rice seeds (seed rice) to form brown rice, which has good water absorption and is easy to disinfect. Because the structure is coated with chlorine, the soaking period for rice seeds, which was previously indispensable, can be omitted, which not only greatly shortens the period of seedling-raising work, but also allows disinfection to be carried out simply and extremely reliably. It is possible to achieve the same efficiency in handling and sowing operations as seen in the production of seed sheets for plants and flowers, and it can also be expected to increase yields, greatly contributing to rice cultivation.
