The present invention relates to a golden copper alloy used as a substitute for decorative gold alloys. With the recent efforts to save resources, golden alloy materials are required as a substitute for decorative gold alloys. In general, one of the requirements for decorative items is good corrosion resistance. Furthermore, since these ornaments are subjected to complex processing for decorative purposes, they are also required to be easy to process and to have a color close to golden yellow. Incidentally, an alloy used as a decorative golden material is a brass alloy consisting of 30wt% Zn and the balance Cu, but this alloy has the drawbacks of poor corrosion resistance and difficulty in processing into complex shapes. The present invention was made in order to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks, and it is a copper-based alloy that has excellent corrosion resistance and workability (cold workability, machinability), and has a golden color. The purpose is to provide alloys. The decorative golden copper alloy according to the present invention is Zn7~
45wt%, Pb0.01~3wt%, precious metals 0.01~2wt%,
It is an alloy with the remainder being Cu. In the decorative golden copper alloy according to the present invention,
The reason for adding Zn is that when Zn is alloyed with Cu, it produces a golden color, and if it is less than 7wt%, the effect is weak, and if it exceeds 45wt%, β phase will appear.
This is because it becomes difficult to process into a thin plate. In addition, the reason for adding Pb is that Pb hardly dissolves in solid solution in Cu, but mostly precipitates in the form of particles at grain boundaries, improving machinability.
If it is less than 3% by weight, the effect will be weak, and if it exceeds 3wt%, the corrosion resistance will decrease. In addition, the reason for adding precious metals is to further improve the corrosion resistance of the Cu-Zn-Pb alloy by adding a small amount of precious metals. If the amount is less than 0.01wt%, the effect will be weak, and if it exceeds 2wt%, there will be no noticeable change. This is because it is no longer visible. What is the precious metal referred to here?
This includes Au, Ag, Pt, Pd, Rh, Ru, Ir, and Os. Examples and conventional examples will be described below in order to clarify the effects of the decorative golden copper alloy according to the present invention. The color, workability (cold workability, cutting), and resistance of the decorative golden-colored copper alloys of Examples 1 to 4 and the decorative golden-colored copper alloys of Conventional Examples 1 and 2 having the composition shown in Table 1. When tested for perspiration, the results shown in Table 2 were obtained.

Judgment was made after immersion for 240 hours at a liquid temperature of 40°C with a liquid composition of lactic acid 15g/PH4.7. As is clear from the above, the decorative golden-colored copper alloy according to the present invention has superior sweat resistance and workability (cold workability, machinability) compared to conventional decorative golden-colored copper alloys. It can be seen that it has a color. As detailed above, the decorative golden copper alloy of the present invention has sweat resistance and workability (cold workability, machinability).
Because it has excellent copper alloys and a golden color, it can be said to be an epoch-making product that can replace conventional decorative golden-colored copper alloys.
