Description
本発明は、装飾用金合金の代用として用いられ
る黄金色系銅合金に関するものである。
近年の省資源化に伴い、装飾用金合金の代用と
して黄金色系合金材料が要求されている。
一般に装飾品に於いては、耐食性が良好である
ことが具備条件の一つとされている。更には、こ
れ等の装飾品は装飾性の面から、複雑な加工が施
される為、その加工が容易であること、さらにそ
の色が黄金色に近いことも併せて要求されてい
る。
ところで、装飾用黄金色系材料として用いられ
ている合金としてはZn30wt%、残部Cuより成る
黄銅合金があるが、この合金は耐食性が悪く、複
雑な形状に加工しづらいという欠点があつた。
本発明は、上記の欠点を解消せんが為になされ
たものであり、銅系合金で耐食性、加工性(冷間
加工性、切削性)に優れ、かつ黄金色を有する装
飾用黄金色系銅合金を提供せんとするものであ
る。
本発明による装飾用黄金色系銅合金はZn7〜
45wt%、Pb0.01〜3wt%、貴金属0.01〜2wt%、
残部Cuより成る合金である。
本発明による装飾用黄金色系銅合金に於いて、
Znを添加した理由は、ZnはCuと合金を作つた際
に、黄金色が得られる為であり、7wt%未満でそ
の効果が薄く、45wt%を超えるとβ相が現われ、
薄板に加工することが困難になる為である。
また、Pbを添加した理由は、PbはCu中にほと
んど固溶せず、ほとんどが結晶粒界に粒状になつ
て析出し、切削性が良好になる為であり、0.01wt
%未満ではその効果が薄く、3wt%を超えると耐
食性が低下してくる為である。
また、貴金属を添加した理由は、貴金属の微量
添加によりCu−Zn−Pb合金の耐食性をさらに向
上させる為であり、0.01wt%未満ではその効果が
薄く、2wt%を超えてもあまり顕著な変化が見ら
れなくなる為である。ここで言う貴金属とは、
Au、Ag、Pt、Pd、Rh、Ru、Ir、Osを含めての
ことである。
以下本発明による装飾用黄金色系銅合金の効果
を明瞭ならしめる為に実施例及び従来例について
述べる。
第1表に示す成分組成の実施例1〜4の装飾用
黄金色系銅合金と従来例1、2の装飾用黄金色系
銅合金の色、加工性(冷間加工性、切削)、耐汗
性についてテストしたところ第2表のような結果
を得た。

If it is less than 3% by weight, the effect will be weak, and if it exceeds 3wt%, the corrosion resistance will decrease. In addition, the reason for adding precious metals is to further improve the corrosion resistance of the Cu-Zn-Pb alloy by adding a small amount of precious metals.If the amount is less than 0.01wt%, the effect will be weak, and if it exceeds 2wt%, there will be no noticeable change. This includes Au, Ag, Pt, Pd, Rh, Ru, Ir, and Os. Examples and conventional examples will be described below in order to clarify the effects of the decorative golden copper alloy according to the present invention. The color, workability (cold workability, cutting), and resistance of the decorative golden-colored copper alloys of Examples 1 to 4 and the decorative golden-colored copper alloys of Conventional Examples 1 and 2 having the composition shown in Table 1. なお、人工汗試験はNH4Cl15.5g/、
NaCl20g/、酢酸2.5g/、尿素5g/、
乳酸15g/、PH4.7の液組成で液温40℃、240時
間浸漬後判定した。
上記で明らかなように本発明による装飾用黄金
色系銅合金は従来の装飾用黄金色系銅合金に比
し、耐汗性、加工性(冷間加工性、切削性)が優
れ、かつ黄金色を有していることが判る。
以上詳記した通り、本発明の装飾用黄金色系銅
合金は、耐汗性、加工性(冷間加工性、切削性)
が優れかつ黄金色を有しているので、従来の装飾
用黄金色系銅合金にとつて代わることのできる画
