Conventionally, for one-box type cars,
Front seats and rear seats are foldable and arranged vertically on the car floor behind the bulkhead, which covers the engine room opening and has so-called front seats, such as the driver's seat and auxiliary seats, mounted on the top surface of the bulkhead. Some vehicles are designed to be folded toward the bulkhead so that the vehicle floor can be used as a luggage compartment. To explain this seat as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the seat 1 consists of a front seat 4 and a rear seat 5 which are foldably connected vertically to a vehicle floor 3 behind a bulkhead 2. This front seat 4 includes a front leg 6 fixed to the vehicle floor 3, a seat cushion part 8 whose front lower part is attached to the upper part of the front leg 6 via a hinge part 7 so as to be rotatable forward, and this seat cushion part. 8, a seat back part 10 which is arranged to stand upright in a backward-leaning manner and is attached to the lower part thereof so as to be tilted forward and rotatable via a hinge part 9; and a rear lower part of the seat cushion part 8. It consists of a rear leg 12 which is arranged in a backward-slanting manner via a hinge part 11 and is foldable toward the back side of the seat cushion part 8 with the hinge part 11 at the center. In addition, the above rear seat 5
1 is a front leg 13 which is U-shaped in side view and is attached to a hinge part 7 on the upper part of the front leg 6 of the front seat 4 so as to be able to rotate upwardly and is stretched over the vehicle floor 3. A seat cushion part 15 is attached to the upper end of the seat cushion part 15 so as to be rotatable forward via a hinge part 14.
, a seat back part 17 which is arranged to stand upright at the rear of the seat cushion part 15 and is assembled so as to be tilted forward so as to be rotatable forward via a lower hinge part 16; A rear leg 19 is arranged at the rear lower part of the seat cushion section 15 in a backwardly inclined manner via a hinge section 18 and is foldable toward the back side of the seat cushion section 15 with the hinge section 18 at the center.

Therefore, the seat 1 having the above structure moves forward with the seat back part 10 of the front seat 4 centered on the lower hinge part 9, and moves the seat back part 10 together with the seat back part 10 in a state where its seating surface is overlapped with the seating surface of the seat cushion part 8. Then, the seat cushion part 8 is moved upward around the upper hinge part 7, the rear legs 12 are folded around the hinge part 11, and the seat cushion parts 8 are overlapped on the same plane, and the seat back of the rear seat 5 is folded. The part 17 is moved forward around the lower hinge part 16, its seating surface is overlapped with the seating surface of the seat cushion part 15, and the seat cushion part 17 is latched onto the seat cushion part 15 by a locking means (not shown). 15 upwards about the upper hinge part 14, and the rear leg 1
9 is folded around the hinge part 18 and stacked on the back surface of the seat cushion part 15, and finally the front legs 13 are moved up around the upper hinge part 7 of the front legs 6 of the front seat 4. As shown in Fig. 4, it is folded so that luggage can be stored in the rear part of the front legs 6 of the front seats 4 on the vehicle floor 3.

However, in the above-mentioned structure, when the seat 1 is folded, the front seat 4 is vertically arranged above the vehicle floor 3, and the rear seat 5 is arranged horizontally above the front seat 4, so there is no cargo space. When trying to spread out the front seat 4
If the fixed position of the front legs 6 of the front legs 6 is arranged close to the bulkhead 2 side, the rear seat 5 will collide with the seat back portion 21 of the float seat 20 on the bulkhead 2 when the seat 1 is folded. Therefore, a large gap is left as a dead space between the front seat 4 and the bulkhead 2 in the folded state.

The same parts as those in the figure are given the same reference numerals. 1st, 2nd
In the figure, a seat 1A is a front seat 4A and a rear seat 5A that are foldably connected to the vehicle floor 3 behind the bulkhead 2.
It consists of. The front seat 4A has front legs 6 fixed to the vehicle floor 3.
The upper hinge part 7 is moved forward about the upper hinge part 7 of the
a seat cushion part 8 which is rotatable about the seat cushion part 8; a seat back part 10 which is attached to the rear part of the seat cushion part 8 so as to be freely rotatable forward about the hinge part 22; Vertical part 2 that is integrated with the car floor and extends in three directions
3 and an L-shaped rear leg 25 comprising a horizontal portion 24 extending rearward from the vertical portion 23 along the vehicle floor 3. A holder 40 protruding forward is provided at the bent portion at the boundary between the vertical portion 23 and the horizontal portion 24.
A pivotally supported roller 41 is provided at the tip. This roller 41 is made of an elastic material such as rubber. Further, the rear seat 5A has a front leg 26 whose lower end is pivotally supported to the rear end of the horizontal section 24 so as to be rotatable forward about a hinge section 29, and a seat cushion section 15 with the front leg 26 fixed to the front section. A seat back portion 17 is connected to the rear of the seat cushion portion 15 in a rearwardly tilted manner via a hinge bracket 28, and is rotatably connected to the front with a hinge 33 as the center of rotation.
and a rear leg 19 which is foldable toward the back surface of the seat cushion 15 around a hinge 18 at the rear lower part of the seat cushion 15. The upright position of the seat back portion 17 of the rear seat 5A is ensured by engaging a pin 30 protruding from the seat back frame 27 into a locking groove 31 cut into the hinge bracket 28. Reference numeral 32 designates a locking means consisting of a pin 30 and a hook member 35 which is pivotally supported on the upper part of the seat back portion 10 of the front seat 4A in the vertical direction and has a locking hook portion 34 at its tip.

According to the above configuration, when folding the seat from the usage state shown in FIG. The seat cushion part 15 is rotated forward together with the seat back part 17 as shown in FIG. After the hook member 34 is engaged with the pin 30 and the locking means 32 is locked, the seat back portion 10 of the front seat 4A is rotated forward about the upper hinge portion 22 as shown in FIG. 2B. The rear seat 5A is moved upward from the vehicle floor 3, and the seat cushion part 8 of the front seat 4A is rotated forward together with the seat back part 10 as shown in FIG. The rear end 15a of the 5A seat cushion is placed on the bulkhead 2. Thereby, the seat cushion parts 8, 15 and the seat back parts 10, 17 can be arranged vertically in a superposed state, respectively. In this case, as shown in FIG. 2D, the rear seat 5A
When the rear legs 25 are rotated forward or backward together with the seat back section 10 with the seat folded in the direction of the front seat 4A, the lower part of the vertical section 23 will come into contact with the floor 3, causing damage to the floor.
Although there is a possibility that abnormal noise may be generated, since the rollers 41 contact the floor 3 first in this case, such a problem does not occur. In particular, if the rollers 41 are made of an elastic material such as rubber, the shock when the vertical portion touches the floor can be alleviated. When used as a seat, as shown in FIG. 1A, the rollers 41 are not in contact with each other but the horizontal portion 24 is in contact with them, so no load is applied to the rollers 41 and the rollers 41 are not damaged. It should be noted that the bulkhead 2 has a higher central portion where the rear end 15a of the seat cushion touches.
