Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the whole process automatic and compression mold a product of given dimension integrating its surface layer and space layer by lowering two times a press mold provided with an upper section horizontal surface and a downward slope surface having the obtuse angle from the upper section horizontal surface into a molding cavity. CONSTITUTION:A base layer material B for instant releasing blended with concrete is filled in a mold main body 11, and then a press mold 13 is lowered until the lower end of a downward slope face 15 of the press plate 13 reaches the bottom of a mold cavity to compress the base layer material 13, and when compression is finished, the press plate is lifted up. A continuous space 18 is formed on the upper end faces of the compressed space layer material as a trace of the press mold in a mold cavity 12 by said process and then a surface layer material A with little water content for instant releasing is filled in said continuous space. Then, the press mold 13 is lowered again to compress the surface layer material A and the space layer material B in the mold cavity, and a product 21 integrating a surface layer 19 of given thickness with a base layer 20 is molded in the mold cavity. When molding is over, the press mold 13 and an elevator 16 are lowered simultaneously, and the product is placed on a pallet plate 17 as shown in broken line and released downward from the mold cavity.

<Prior Art> It has become popular to pave sidewalks and driveways by laying down relatively small paving blocks that have a decorative surface layer on their upper surfaces in an adjacent manner. When paving is done in this way, if the boundaries between the sidewalk and the roadway, the boundaries between the inbound and outbound roads, etc. are marked with curb blocks made of ordinary concrete without a decorative surface layer, the paving blocks The atmosphere of the paved surface, which was decorated with the surface layer, is destroyed.

<Problems to be Solved by the Invention> Figures 6 to 9 are explanatory views sequentially explaining the manufacturing process of conventional curbstone blocks with a surface layer. On the lower surface and one or both sides of the mold cavity 2, a layer of surface layer material A with a low moisture content for immediate demolding, which is a mortar mixture containing decorative materials and pigments that constitute the surface layer of the product, is manually applied (Fig. 6). Then, fill the square mold hole 2 with base layer material B for immediate demolding, which is a concrete mixture (Fig. 7), and compress the base layer material B and surface layer material A from above with a flat press plate 3 under vibration. (Fig. 8), then the press plate is raised, the form body is reversed, and the product 6, in which the base layer 4 and the surface layer 5 are integrated, is removed from the rectangular form 2 (
Figure 9).

In this conventional manufacturing method, when molding the product, it is necessary to manually apply a layer of surface layer material A to the bottom surface and side surfaces of the rectangular mold hole 2 at a constant thickness f. It takes time and effort, and there is a limit to how much productivity can be improved. Furthermore, after layering the surface layer material A on the bottom and side surfaces of the rectangular mold hole, when filling the remaining inside of the mold hole with the base layer material, the mold body is vibrated to consolidate the base layer material. This vibration and the dropped base layer material may cause the surface layer material to peel off from the side surface of the mold hole, resulting in a defective product whose side surface is partially formed of the base layer.

<Means for Solving the Problems> Therefore, in order to eliminate the drawbacks of the conventional manufacturing method described above, the present invention provides an upper horizontal surface and an upper horizontal surface above a rectangular mold hole in which at least the upper surface of the mold body is open. A press die having a downward slope that descends at an obtuse angle from the center is provided so as to be movable up and down so that the back of the downward slope is in sliding contact with one side of the rectangular hole;
After the press die is raised to fill the base layer material into the square hole, the press die is lowered into the square hole and raised to fill the surface layer material on top of the compressed base layer material and on the sides thereof. A continuous space is formed by the traces of the press mold, and then the surface layer material is filled into the continuous space, and after filling, the press mold is lowered in a controlled manner into the rectangular mold hole to form the surface layer integrally with the base layer. After that, the product, in which the base layer and surface layer were integrated, was removed from the mold through the rectangular mold hole.

<Example> In Figs. 1 to 5, 11 is a formwork body, 12 is a rectangular mold hole for curb forming provided in the formwork body, 13 is a press mold whose planar shape is the same size as the mold hole, The press mold is equipped with an upper horizontal surface 14 and a downward slope 15 that descends at an obtuse angle from the upper horizontal surface, and this press mold is normally placed on standby above the mold body 11 so as not to interfere with the feed material hopper that drops the molding material into the mold hole. To manufacture curbstone blocks, the mold hole 12 is filled with a base layer material B containing concrete for immediate demolding (Fig. 2), and then the lower end of the downward slope 15 of the press plate 13 is placed at the bottom of the mold hole (Fig. 2).
The press die 13 is lowered until it reaches the upper surface of the pallet plate 17 (Fig. 3) to compress the base layer material B, and when the compression is finished, the press plate is raised. As a result, a continuous space 18 is created in the mold cavity 12 on the top and side surfaces of the compressed base material as a trace of the press mold, and then in the continuous space, mortar containing the decorative materials and pigments constituting the surface layer of the product is mixed. Fill with surface layer material A with low moisture content for immediate demolding (Figure 4)
. Then, the press mold 13 is lowered again to compress the surface layer material A and the base layer material B in the mold hole, and to obtain the required thickness of the surface layer 1.
A product 21 in which 9 is integrated with the base layer 20 is molded in the mold cavity (FIG. 5).

In this way, when the molding of the product is completed by lowering the press mold to a predetermined position and stopping it, the press mold 13 and the elevator 16 are lowered at the same time, and the product is placed on the pallet board 17 as shown by the broken line in FIG. It can be placed on the mold and removed from the mold hole.

After filling with the base layer material B, the press mold 13 is lowered until the lower end of the downward slope 15 reaches the bottom of the mold hole or the pallet board 17 in order to decorate the sides of the product with the surface layer 19 up to the lower end. In this way, a continuous space 18 for filling the surface layer material is formed, and when the press die 13 is lowered again after filling this space with the surface layer material, the base layer material and the surface layer material in the mold hole are pressurized from above by the upper horizontal surface 14. In addition, since the downward slope 15 descends at an obtuse angle from the upper horizontal plane, pressure is also applied from the side by the downward slope, so that the surface layer 19 with a predetermined thickness is
on the top and side surfaces, making it possible to obtain products with predetermined dimensions.

In this embodiment, since a product having a surface layer on one side is manufactured, the press die 13 has an upper flat surface 14 and a downward slope 15.
An inverted U-shaped press mold with two downward slopes may be used when producing a product having surface layers on both sides.

<Effects of the Invention> According to the present invention, a press mold having an upper horizontal surface and a downward slope descending from the upper horizontal surface at an obtuse angle is lowered into the mold hole twice, and the first lowering is performed to reduce the amount of filling into the mold hole. Pre-compressing the base layer material to form a continuous space for filling the surface layer material,
In the next descent, the surface layer material filled in the above space and the pre-compressed base material are combined to form a surface layer of a predetermined thickness.
This surface layer and base layer are compression molded into a product with a predetermined size. Therefore, there is no room for defective products in which part of the surface layer is missing and replaced by the base layer.

Furthermore, since there are no processes that must be performed manually, the entire process can be automated, significantly improving productivity.
