た。[Prior Art] Recent trends in cigarette consumption indicate that products with a light taste, low amounts of nicotine and tar, and a mild feel are preferred. In order to meet such consumer demands, various improvements have been made to cellulose acetate filters and paper filters that are currently widely used. A simple example is one that attempts to increase the filtration rate of nicotine◆cool by making the length of the filter longer than conventional products. Furthermore, in the case of cellulose acetate filters, measures have been taken to increase the filtration rate of nicotine tar by making the fibers finer in denier and by developing threads with various irregular cross-sections.

There is a problem that the smoke volume cannot be satisfied. In order to achieve a satisfactory smoking taste and smoke volume, it is necessary to control the ratio of the amount of nicotine to the amount of tar in the smoke (hereinafter referred to as N/T) to a desired value. N/T in smoke can be adjusted by changing the composition of tobacco leaves or using tobacco substitutes. However, these methods have problems.

When used in a dual structure, one part of the filter is sprinkled with glucose powder or added with an aqueous glucose solution by impregnation or spraying, and the other part is connected to a part that does not contain glucose.

10 to 100% by weight (ratio of glucose weight to weight of filter material) is preferred. If the amount of glucose added is less than 10% by weight, the nicotine removal effect will be too small, while if it exceeds 100% by weight, the feeling of smoke volume during smoking will be significantly reduced, which is not preferable.

This was used as the Comparative Example 1 sample.

It was added using a syringe to give a concentration of 15% by weight, and then dried under vacuum at room temperature (20 to 25°C), and then connected to five filter chips for testing. Next, this filter chip was connected to the cigarette frame of "Peace Light" in the same manner as in Comparative Example 1 to obtain an Example 1 sample.

Arrange the pieces with a gap of 5 mm, and add 0.11 g of granulated glucose (100% by weight based on the weight of the filter material) with a particle size of 24 to 42 mesh separated using a JIS certified standard sieve. The triple filter was placed in the container, and the triple filter was connected to the cigarette frame of a "Peace Light" in the same manner as in Example 1. As a comparative example, the 84-meter long filter rod used in Examples 1 to 4 was cut into 17-open filter chips, and a cigarette frame was attached to the same filter tip as the triple filter of Example 4. A sample made by connecting was used. These samples were subjected to a smoking test in the same manner as in Example 1, and the filtration rates of nicotine, tar, and water were measured. The results are shown in Table 3.
