ゴム等で、シース5を施したものである。ここで
用いる操作線心3は、第2図に示すように、ステ
ンレス線、鋼線、ピアノ線等を撚り合わせた補強
索31を中心に、直径0.08〜0.18mmの可撓軟銅線
32を複合撚りし、フツ素樹脂(ETFE、FEP、
PFA等)の絶縁体33を被覆したものである。
ここで、前記可撓軟銅線32として直径0.08〜
0.18mmの細線を使用した理由としては、0.08mmよ
りも細い素線、例えば0.05mmの場合にはコストが
高くなつてしまい、又0.18mmを超える素線の場合
には柔軟性に欠け耐屈曲性が悪くなつてしまうた

の絶縁体33としてフツ素樹脂を使用した理由
は、機械的強度に優れたフツ素樹脂を用いること
により耐抗張力及び耐屈曲性を向上させるためで
ある。
