Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress sound with a simple constitution by making up an exhaust air silencer together with a sound proof plate provided across an exhaust passage between a first porous filter and a exhaust port, and thereby providing a second porous filter while being faced to the exhaust port. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust flow out of an electric blower passes through a first porous filter 11 provided for an exhaust port 12 while sound is being suppressed so that it is exhausted to an exhaust air silencer 16 out of the exhaust port 12. Exhaust flow, in this way, runs against a sound proof plate 13 consisting of the exhaust air silencer 16, so that its exhaust direction is bent roughly at a right angle to the lateral or to the vertical direction. Exhaust flow whose direction is bent, passes through an exhaust passage 14 formed between the discharge port 12 and a second porous filter 15 so as to be exhausted out of an exhaust outlet 17. That is to say, exhaust flow passes through the exhaust passage 14, which is not available in conventional cleaners, and moreover, the surface of the exhaust passage 14 is covered with the porous filters 11 and 15, both exhaust flow sound and air transmitting sound can thereby be suppressed.

BACKGROUND ART A conventional vacuum cleaner has a structure as shown in FIG. That is, when the electric blower 2 installed in the vacuum cleaner body is operated, dust is sucked from the floor nozzle 7 (not shown) and sucked into the body 1 from the dust suction vibrator 3, and the dust is sucked into the paper bag. 4, the air is sucked through the intake port of the electric blower 2 to cool the electric motor, and is exhausted from the exhaust hole 6 of the main body 1 via the porous filter 5. Note that this porous filter 5 performs aeration of the main body 1 and final dust collection.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, the conventional configuration has the following problems. The airflow from the electric blower 2 contains many noise components, most of which are absorbed by the porous filter 5.However, the exhaust airflow from the electric blower 2 is also When the dust passes through the interior, wind noise that is unpleasant to humans is generated. To solve this problem, the mesh of the porous filter 5 can be made coarser, but the dust collection surface area of the porous filter 5 7 decreases, and the dust collection effect on the exhaust airflow deteriorates.

Further, in order to further enhance the sound absorption effect of such a structure, it is possible to increase the thickness of the porous filter 5 or increase the surface area. However, if the thickness of the porous fins 5 is made too thick, the exhaust efficiency deteriorates, resulting in a decrease in the performance of the vacuum cleaner. Furthermore, if the surface area of the porous filter 5 is increased, the sound absorption effect will be improved, but the main body (2) will naturally become larger.

EXAMPLE A first example of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3. 10 is a main body of a vacuum cleaner equipped with an exhaust hole 12 having a first porous filter 11 at the rear. Reference numeral 13 denotes a soundproof plate provided with an exhaust passage 14, which is a space, between the exhaust hole 12 and the exhaust hole 12, and has a second porous filter 15 facing the exhaust hole 12. This second porous filter 15 and the soundproof plate 13 constitute an exhaust silencer 16, which is connected to the rear part of the main body 10. Further, this exhaust passage 14 is connected to exhaust outlets 17 provided on the upper, lower, left and right sides.

In other words, according to this embodiment, the exhaust air passes through the exhaust passage 14, which was not present in conventional vacuum cleaners, and the surface of the exhaust passage 14 is covered with the porous filters 11 and 15, thereby reducing the exhaust air flow noise and the exhaust air. It is possible to reduce transmitted sound. In addition, since the exhaust direction has been changed from the conventional rear exhaust to up/down/left/right exhaust, it is now possible to use the vacuum cleaner with the soundproof board 13 at the bottom, which is effective when cleaning stairs, for example. This allows the user to use the vacuum cleaner in a way that has never been seen before.

Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be explained based on FIGS. 4 and 5. Note that the same parts as in the first embodiment are given the same numbers and detailed explanations will be omitted. In the first embodiment, the exhaust direction is four directions: up, down, left, and right, but if the exhaust flow is directed downward, dust on the floor may be scattered in the air. Also, when exhausting upward, the exhaust stream with an unpleasant odor may directly hit the user. Therefore, in this embodiment, the exhaust outlet 17 in the downward direction is eliminated, and the sound insulating plate 1 constituting the exhaust silencer 16 in the upward direction is
3 is deformed so as to have the same spacing as the exhaust passage 14 on the main body 10 side, so that the exhaust flow flows forward of the main body 10.

Therefore, according to this embodiment, the exhaust gas is discharged to the front of the main body 10 on the left, right, and upper sides of the main body 10. The silencing effect is the same as in the first embodiment.

Effects of the Invention As described above, according to the vacuum cleaner of the present invention, there is a gap between the main body of the vacuum cleaner equipped with an electric blower, the first porous filter attached to the exhaust hole of the main body, and the exhaust hole. The main body of the vacuum cleaner is equipped with a sound insulating plate placed across the exhaust passage, and a second porous filter that forms an exhaust silencer together with the sound insulating plate and is provided opposite to the exhaust hole. This makes it possible to reduce exhaust airflow noise without reducing exhaust efficiency.
