又、この時のスクリューオーガの受樋部分を作物にとっ
て適切な大きさの受網に変えると扱室内で脱穀した穀粒
を受網から下方に漏下させ、茎や藁屑の稈は軸方向に搬
送して機外に排出するいわゆる選別機能を持ち合わせる
ようになる。これがスクリュー型脱穀機である。
従来のスクリュー型脱穀機における脱穀部の排稈排出部
は第3図に示すようにスクリューオーガ50の後方にビ
ータ51等の補助装置を設け、これによって破線52で
示すように茎や藁屑の稈を機外に排出していた。

とを特徴とするスクリュー型脱穀機である。

先ず、図1をかりてスクリュー型脱穀機の全体から説明
する。
穀物は掻込リール1で掻きこまれて刈刃2で刈取られ、
刈り取られた作物は掻込オーガ3からフィダーハウス4
のチェーンコンベア5で扱室6に運ばれ、スクリューオ
ーガからなる扱胴7で脱穀される。
脱穀されたものは受網8から選別オーガ9上に落下し、
回転するオーガ9により、その終端部に向は移動する。
この搬送過程で穀類と細かい藁屑はオーガ9の受樋部分
に張設された受網9aから下方に漏下し、長藁のみ排塵
口10方向に運ばれる。受網9aから落下した穀粒を含
む漏下物はベルトコンベア12で1番樋13上に搬送さ
れ、唐箕のような送風ファン11による選別風をうけて
穀類は1番樋13に、2香物は2番樋14に落下し、1
番樋13に落下した穀類は揚穀コンベア16で籾タンク
17に運ハレ、2香物は2番還元コンベアで扱室6に還
元されるようになっている。なお15は脱穀装置を搭載
したクローラである。

以上のような脱穀部の排稈排出部は本発明において、ス
クリューオーガの後端部7aが扱室6外に延出され、そ
の延出する長さは1ピッチ以上である。
したがって、扱室6で脱穀された藁等はスクリューオー
ガの後端部7aによって排送され、矢印aに示すように
機外に排出される。
又、スクリューオーガは大動力を必要とするので、図2
に示すようにエンジン20の出力軸21を後方に配置し
、ベルト23によってスクリューオーガ7を直接駆動す
る。そして、エンジンの冷却風22の方向を排塵、排稈
と同方向とすることによって、オペレータとエンジンの
吸気が粉塵を受げないようにする。
又、エンジン20は機体最後端に位置しているので機体
前方に大きくオーバーバンクした刈取部との重量バラン
スがとられる。

又、機体後部に配置したエンジンの冷却風の方向がスク
リューオーガの排稈方向と同方向であるので粉塵が機体
後方に排塵され、機体前方に位置するオペレータが粉塵
を受けることなく、エンジン吸気も粉塵を受けることが
ないし、エンジンは機体後部にあるので、機体前方に大
きくオーバーハングした刈取部との重量バランスがとれ
