テツプS1およびS2)、被呼者応答の際にデイ
ジタル統合通信網1から返送されるCONNECT
信号数の計数機能を起動する(ステツプS3)。
デイジタル統合通信網1は、加入者線3を経由し
て端末装置5および6に音声用SETUP(V)信
号を、続いて映像用SETUP(I)信号を伝達する。
端末装置6は音声および映像による複合通信は不
可能である為、不適合を示すRELEASE
COMPLETE信号を返送して呼を終了し、端末装
置5のみが音声用SETUP(V)信号および映像
用SETUP(I)信号に対し、音声用ALERT(V)信
号および映像用ALERT(I)信号を返送すると共
に、被呼者に着信を表示する。デイジタル統合通
信網1は、端末装置5から返送される音声用
ALERT(V)信号および映像用ALERT(I)信号
を端末装置4に伝達する。被呼者が応答し、端末
装置5から音声用CONNECT(V)信号および映
像用CONNECT(I)信号をデイジタル統合通信網
1に返送すると、デイジタル統合通信網1は端末
装置5から返送される音声用CONNECT(V)信
号および映像用CONNECT(I)信号を端末装置4
に伝達すると共に、端末装置5に対し音声用
CONNECT ACKNOWLEDGE(V)信号および
映像用CONNECT ACKNOWLEDGE(I)信号を
返送する。以上により端末装置4および5間に音
声用の通信路と、映像用の通信路とが設定され
る。端末装置4は、所定時間経過以内に2組の
CONNECT信号が返送されたことをCONNECT
信号計数機能により計数すると(ステツプS4お
よびS5)、被呼者が応答したことを表示する
(ステツプS6)。該応答表示により、発呼者は端
末装置4から端末装置5に対し音声および映像に
よる複合通信を開始する。
