Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain automatic series call without troubling the operator of a called party by applying series call in the order of plural extension numbers designated when an incoming subaddress information element is received. CONSTITUTION:A caller terminal equipment 1 dials a subscriber number of a PBX 3 and a delimiter when series call is desired to called terminal equipments 5-7, dials number of the terminal equipment 5 and dials the delimiter and the number of the terminal equipment 6 and the delimiter and the number of the terminal equipment 6 again. Then each number is edited as an incoming subaddress information element and a call setting message is sent to a network 2. The network 2 sends the message to the PBX 3. The PBX 3 calls the termi nal equipment 5 and after the end of talking, the restoration of the terminal equipment 5 is confirmed to call the terminal equipment 6 and after the terminal equipment 6 is restored, the terminal equipment 7 is called to apply series call.

[Means for Solving the Problems] The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned problems, and it is possible to transmit and receive multiple extension numbers to be called in a series call using a called subaddress information element. The purpose is to enable series calls to be made automatically without any intervention on the part of the user, and to achieve this purpose, an exchange that can transmit the called subaddress information element and a series call in the called subaddress information element are required. A transmitting means that sets and transmits the type information indicating that the call is made and multiple extension numbers to be sequentially called in a series call, an exchange capable of receiving the called subaddress information element, and a receiving means that receives the called subaddress information element sent by the sending means. It has a receiving means, and is configured to sequentially make a series call to a plurality of designated extension numbers when receiving the destination subaddress information element set by the transmitting means.

In FIG. 3, when the calling terminal 1 wants to make a series call to the called terminals 5 to 7, it first dials the subscriber number of the PBX 3 that houses the called terminals 5 to 7, and then enters a delimiter (in this case, an asterisk). ) and dial the called terminal 5.
Dial the number ``2000'', the delimiter and the number of the called terminal 6 again ``3000'', the delimiter and the number ``4000'' of the called terminal 7.The called terminal dialed by the calling terminal 1 The numbers 5 to 7 are edited as in the called subaddress information element shown in FIG. 2, and a call setup message is sent to the network 2 using a known method. 7 to the PBX 3 that stores the PBX 3. Thereby, the PBX 3 understands that the calling terminal 1 is requesting a series call based on the called subaddress information element.

The PBX 3 first calls the first called terminal 5, and after confirming that the call has ended and the called terminal 5 has been restored, calls the called terminal 6.
When the called terminal 6 is restored, the called terminal 7 is called and a series call is made.

[Effects of the Invention] As explained above, the present invention provides an exchange that can transmit a called subaddress information element, type information indicating that it is a series call in the called subaddress information element, and a plurality of users who wish to make serial calls in series. a transmission means for setting and transmitting the extension number of the destination subaddress, an exchange capable of receiving the called subaddress information element, and a receiving means for receiving the called subaddress information element transmitted by the sending means, and a called subaddress set by the sending means. Since the configuration is configured so that a series call is made sequentially to multiple extension numbers specified when an information element is received, the number of extensions to be called in a series call can be sent and received using the called subaddress information element. It becomes possible to automatically make a series call without bothering the calling side (called party).
