測定物から反射して来る信号光を受光素子上に導
き、該受光素子上の、上記信号光の入射位置によ
つて被測定物までの距離を測定する測距装置にお
いて、 上記受光素子の近距離側の受光面に、入射する
光を低減させるためのマスクやフイルタ、絞り等
を設け、外光成分強度を下げるようにしたことを
