Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the durability and coating properties of the title veneer by flaking log flitches, which are impregnated with resin for a WPC treatment and in which the resin is cured, to form wood flakes, applying an adhesive to the wood flakes, which are then compressed into a block to make formed flitches, and thereafter slicing the formed flitches. CONSTITUTION:Raw wood flitches 1 are first formed by cutting a log. After the raw wood flitches 1 are put into a treating vessel 5 to be impregnated with resin for a WPC treatment, the resin is cured. The raw wood flitches 1 are cut by a planer 11 to be flaked into the form of wood flakes 2, and an adhesive such as a urethane adhesive is applied to the wood flakes 2, which are then put into the form 8 of a pressing device 7 to be compressed and formed into formed flitches 3 by a top force 9. A plurality of the formed flitches 3 are assembled and, after an assembled flitch 10 is thus formed, it is sliced to form a woody decorative veneer 4. Since the wood flakes of the woody decorative veneer 4 have been subjected to the WPC treatment, the durability of the woody decorative veneer is enhanced, and its coating properties can also be enhanced while its water absorbability is suppressed.

[Prior Art] In recent years, with the diversification of building materials, there has been a demand for materials with a highly novel appearance. In particular, there is a need for wood decorative boards that retain the warmth and gentleness of wood and have an appearance that can be adapted to modern living spaces. In response to such a request, the applicant of this patent has previously filed Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 64-55204.
The application disclosed in Publication No. 2 was filed. In such a conventional example, a flitch is formed by applying an adhesive to a thin piece of wood and press molding, and the flitch is sliced to form a decorative wood veneer.

[Problem to be Solved by the Invention 1] However, in the case of such a conventional example, there is a problem that the durability (it water resistance, decay resistance) is poor because the adhesive is used as binder to bond the wood thin pieces, and the water absorption property is poor. There was a problem that the paint quality was high and the paintability was poor.

[Means for Solving the Problems] The method for producing a decorative wood veneer of the present invention includes adding W to raw wood flitch 1.
The raw wood flitch 1 is impregnated with a resin for PC treatment and cured, and then the raw wood flitch 1 is flaked to form wood thin pieces 2. The wood thin pieces 2 are coated with an adhesive and formed into blocks by pressure molding to form a molded flitch. 3 and then slices the molded flitch 3 to form a wood decorative veneer 4.

[Action] Ia! for WPC treatment on raw wood flitch 1! Since the wood flakes 2 are formed by impregnating the wood with oil and curing them and then turning them into flakes, the wood flakes 1 have been treated with WPC in advance, and the wood decorative veneer 4 is formed from the WPC-treated wood flakes, which increases durability. It is possible to obtain a product that is both durable and has good paintability.

The length is 1000 inches+. This raw wood flitch 1 is placed in a processing furnace 5 and impregnated with a resin for WPC processing. In this embodiment, a dye is mixed into the resin so that the resin is impregnated with a colored resin. For example, melamine resin is used as the resin for WPC treatment, and Suminol Milling Brown 3G, for example, is used as the dye, and the ratio of the dye to 100 parts by weight of the resin is 1 part by weight.W
Impregnation with resin for PC processing is performed by pressure impregnation under reduced pressure.

This state can be expressed graphically as shown in Figure 2. The section indicated by the symbol a in FIG. 2 is the section in which the resin is inserted. WPC
The impregnation rate for impregnating the treatment resin is 50±20%. After the raw wood flitch 1 is impregnated with a resin for WPC treatment, it is hardened. This curing is performed by high frequency drying, and the conditions for performing this high frequency drying are, for example, 120° C. for 1 hour. Some raw wood flitches 1 treated with WPC are dyed in a plurality of colors, so that a plurality of raw wood flitches 1 a, 1 b, and 1 e of different colors are formed.

The application of the adhesive is carried out by putting the wood thin pieces 2 into the stirring mixer 6, applying the adhesive by spraying, and stirring and mixing. This thin piece of wood 1 is put into a formwork 8 of a press device 7, and is pressed and formed by an upper mold 9.
A molded flitch 3 is formed by compression molding. The pressure applied by the press device 7 is sufficient to soak the wood flakes 2 along the press surface, and is 2Kg/em2 to 50Kg.

The colors of the several circumscribed molded flitches 3 are different from this, and an assembled flitch 10 having a checkerboard-like pattern is formed. This assembled flitch 10 is sliced to form a decorative wood veneer 4. This decorative wood veneer 4 is adhered to a substrate such as plywood, if necessary, and its surface is painted, if necessary. Conventional WPC processing is usually performed at the stage of slicing veneers, but when this is done, the dimensions vary due to resin impregnation, drying, etc., and it is extremely difficult to process items that require dimensional accuracy, such as checkered patterns. Since this is difficult, the method of the present invention was adopted. The wood decorative board produced as described above can be used, for example, as a flooring material.

[Effects of the Invention] The present invention is manufactured as described above, so that the appearance of the surface is made of wood flakes without detracting from the quality of the wood, and it is possible to obtain a wood decorative board that has an appearance that can be adapted to modern living spaces. Of course,
Since the wood flakes are treated with WPC, their durability can be improved, and their water absorption can also be suppressed to improve their paintability.
