Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent damage by the nesting of small animals by a method in which a cover is provided for the aperture between the upper end of sloped roof and the hood tip of folded roof. CONSTITUTION:On the upper end of sloped roof 2, a less-sloped roof 3 consisting of a roof base 31, a water-proof sheet 32, and a fluoro resin-coated steel plate 33 is provided, and the upper end of the plate 33 is risen to form a water-drip part 34. A steel plate cover 4 covered with vinyl chloride sheet is provided in a sloped form to cover the aperture between the hood tip of the folded plate roof 1 and the roof 3. In this case, the cover 4 is provided along the roof 1 and an air hole 41 is provided in the slope. The hood tip of the roof 1 and the cover 4 are also covered with a top cover of the same material as the cover 4. The less-sloped roof 3 and much-sloped roof 2 can thus be well-connected without any defect.

(Prior Art) Houses usually have one type of roofing material, such as a tiled roof as described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 61-134461 or a folded roof as described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 62258046. Thatching is common.

For example, when it is necessary to change the slope of the roof, such as when installing a skylight on a roof above the bottom of a ship, or when connecting a sloped roof to a folded roof and installing a skylight on this sloped roof, conventionally,
This slope was changed for the same roof, but it is natural that if the slope changes, it is better to have a roof structure that is suitable for each slope.

In the present invention, a sloping roof is a roof having a slope greater than that of a folded roof, and includes, for example, an asphalt roof, a metal sheet roof, a tiled roof, and a tiled roof. In the present invention, the slope may be made gentler around 1 so that the cover can be easily attached to the upper end of the sloping roof.

(Function) In general, when there is a gap in the joint of a roof, small animals such as birds nest there, and small animal excrement, carcasses, etc. cause bad odors and stains on building finishing materials. Since the cover is attached to the roof, problems caused by such small animals will not occur, and the durability of the finishing material can be prevented from deteriorating and the generation of bad odors can be prevented.

(Effects of the Invention) As is clear from the above explanation, since the gap at the joint between the folded roof and the sloped roof of the present invention is closed with a cover,
Small animals cannot nest, and therefore no damage is caused by these small animals.
