Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve accuracy and repairability by equalizing the diameter of the bolt through hole of one member to the outer diameter of a bolt, and forming a housing chamber for loosely housing retainer nuts on the back side of a wall face, in connection structure with bolts, nut for the suspension device, etc. of automobiles. CONSTITUTION:Each pair of bolt holes 22-25 are formed on the two opposite walls of the wall portion 20 of a car body, collars 26, 27 are inserted between the bolts 22, 23 and the holes 24, 25, and bolts 28, 29 are inserted thereto from the outside of the car body. A supporting member 30 is attached to the inner surface of the car body on the wall portion 20 of the car body to cover the bolt holes 22, 24 and also to open the upper portion of the wall surface for making a box shape so that retainer nuts 32, 33 are loosely housed therein. The inner diameters of bolt holes 22, 24 are approximately equalized to the outer diameters of the bolts 28, 29 respectively. According to this constitution, it is unnecessary to retain the retainer nuts, fastening and removal can be carried out only by rotating the bolts, positional accuracy can be maintained and repairability can be improved.

For example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 63-25115 discloses a connection structure between a tower portion and a side member on the vehicle body side. In this structure, a part of the tower that swingably supports one end of the upper link and lower link is placed along the side member in the vertical direction of the vehicle body, two bolts are inserted through both, and the tip of the bolt is inserted. is screwed into a weld nut (a nut fixed by welding) on the back side of the side member to connect the two.

According to this, in addition to the connection between the cross member (integrated with part of the tower) and the car body, it is also possible to connect the tower part and the car body, increasing rigidity without increasing weight.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to achieve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides a first member with a second member.
A plurality of bolts are inserted along the member, passing through both members from the first member side to the second member side, and a retainer nut is screwed onto the tip of each bolt protruding from the back surface of the second member. In the member connecting structure for connecting both members together, the second member
A housing in which the inner diameter of the bolt through hole of the member and the outer diameter of the bolt almost match, and at least a part of the wall surface is opened larger than the retainer nut, and the wall surface is stretched so as to surround the tips of the plurality of bolts. A chamber is formed on the back surface of the second member, and a plurality of retainer nuts are accommodated in the chamber in a loosely fitted state, preferably at an angle with respect to a straight line connecting the centers of the screw holes of the pair of retainer nuts. The present invention is characterized in that surfaces that intersect are formed at opposite ends of a pair of adjacent retainer nuts, and the two surfaces formed at each opposite end are spaced apart from each other when the retainer nut rotates as the bolt is tightened.

(Function) In the present invention, a plurality of retainer nuts are sequentially installed through an open wall surface. At this time, if a retainer nut cannot be directly installed in a predetermined position due to an obstruction such as a cowl top, it is installed in another position where it can be easily installed. After that, by successively attaching another retainer nut, the retainer is moved inside the storage chamber by being pushed by the retainer nut attached later, and is attached to a predetermined position.

Hereinafter, the state of this connecting portion will be explained in detail with reference to Fig. 3.4. In FIG. 3, an axle side member 53 is attached to the swinging tip 48 of the upper arm 46, and an upper arm bracket 5 is attached to the swinging fulcrum 49 of the upper arm 46.
2 is installed. Upper arm bracket 52
has four bolts (two of them 28.29 are long;
The remaining two bolts 54 and 55 are short) to be attached to the vehicle body wall 20 (the path shown). Short bolt 54.
55 is welded and fixed to the vehicle body wall 20, as shown in FIG.
2 is connected to the vehicle body wall portion 20. The connection structure described above is applied between the upper part of the upper arm bracket 52 and the vehicle body wall 20. That is, in FIG. 4, after the upper arm bracket 52 is aligned along the vehicle body wall 20 and the lower part of the upper arm bracket 52 is fixed with nuts 56 and 57, there is a gap between the upper arm bracket 52 and the vehicle body wall 20 outside the vehicle body. Insert bolts 28 and 29 from the side. Here, bolt holes 22.2 of 20 examples of vehicle body walls
Since the inner diameter of the bolt 4 almost matches the outer diameter of the bolt 28, 29, the positioning accuracy when inserting the bolt 28, 29 is high.

Next, while bringing the curved surface 60 of one glue china nano-dot 33 into contact with the curved surface 60 of the other glue china nano-dot 32, insert this other glue china nano-dot 7. 32 into the housing chamber, one glue chain nano-dot 33 moves while sliding inside the housing chamber, and when the other glue chain nano-dot 32 is completely attached, one glue chain nano-dot 33 is mounted almost at a predetermined position. Therefore, the inconvenience that, for example, it is difficult to attach the one-sided glue handle 33 due to the cowl bump 21 getting in the way is eliminated.

Various modifications of the shape of the retainer nuts 32, 33 are possible. FIG. 8.9 is a diagram showing a preferable example thereof, and the glue hole nodes 70, 71 in FIG. and these two faces 7
The lengths of the retainer nuts 70 and 71 are set appropriately so that the retainer nuts 70 and 75 come into contact with each other when the retainer nuts 4.75 are installed in the housing chamber. In this way, the two opposing surfaces 74 and 75 can be brought into contact with each other at the time of installation, and the glue hole on one side can push the glue hole on the other side.

Furthermore, if the direction of inclination is set so that the two surfaces 74.75 separate (arrows a, b) when the bolts 28, 29 are screwed together and the rotational movement (arrow ASB) of the glued nano-node 70.71 occurs, both sides can be Since the rotational movements of the bolts 28, 29 and the retainer nut 70, 71 do not interfere with each other, the retainer nut, which has been fastened first and is stable, will not be rotated by the retainer nut that is fastened later.
This can prevent loosening between the parts.
