Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain stocking with silky gloss, excellent in warmth retentivity and water-absorptivity, free from moldering, good in wear feeling by using protein-acrylonitrile graft copolymer fiber yarns as covering and/or cross knitting yarns and by alternate cross knitting, one by one, of the covering yarns and cross knitting yarns. CONSTITUTION:Using protein-acrylonitrile graft copolymer fiber yarns e.g. 2-5.5g/d in tenacity, 10-45% in breaking elongation and 2-6% in boiling water shrinkage as covering and/or cross knitting yarns with a total fineness of 10-50 denier, the cross knitting yarns and covering yarns with core yarns are put to, one by one, alternate cross knitting, thus obtaining the objective stocking. Blending of the graft copolymer fiber and polyamide multifilament yarns or the textured yarns therefrom will strengthen the present stocking.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] (Industrial Application Field) The present invention has an elegant, glossy appearance similar to silk, and has excellent heat retention, high water absorption and diffusion properties, and a texture that does not feel sticky or stuffy. This is an invention related to stockings that are excellent in quality.

(Prior Art) Conventionally, in stockings made of covering yarn and interwoven yarn, or stockings made of 100% covering yarn, polyamide multifilament yarn or processed yarn thereof is used as the covering yarn and/or interwoven yarn of the covering yarn. When used, in order to give gloss, there is a method of modifying the cross-sectional shape of the yarn, and in order to increase water absorption, there is a method of promoting water absorption processing to the yarn or product-processed yarn.

In addition, there are various methods to improve heat retention, such as increasing the denier number and filament count, but changing the cross-sectional shape of the thread may give a glossy feel, This has the disadvantage that the product feels hard and uncomfortable when worn.

Water absorption processing is a method of imparting water absorption properties to the fiber surface.
Its performance is poor in durability, and even if it can retain its water absorbency over a long period of time, it does not have diffusion performance (drying properties), so it has the disadvantage of causing a sticky or stuffy feeling when worn. Further, even if the heat retention property is improved by increasing the denier number and the number of filaments, there are disadvantages in that the transparency decreases, the silk fabric becomes thick and flimsy, and the appearance quality deteriorates.

In addition, there are stockings that use silk thread, cotton thread, etc. as the covering thread and/or interwoven thread of the covering yarn, but stockings using silk thread have an elegant luster, excellent appearance quality, and are also water absorbent. However, since it does not have diffusion performance, it has the disadvantage of causing a stuffy feeling, is difficult to handle, and has the disadvantage of being expensive.

In addition, stockings made of cotton yarn have high water absorption, but do not have good diffusion performance, resulting in a stuffy feeling. In addition, since they are short fibers, they have yarn unevenness, making it difficult to make them fine in denier, and the appearance quality is also poor.

In this way, even when using natural fibers other than polyamide synthetic fibers that have excellent appearance quality and functionality, it is still not possible to obtain stockings that fully satisfy both appearance quality and wearing functionality. This is the current situation.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention provides a stocking comprising a covering yarn consisting of a core yarn and a covering yarn, and a cross-knit yarn, in which the covering yarn and/or the cross-knit yarn are made of protein acrylonitrile graft copolymer fibers. Stockings that are made of yarn and are alternately knitted with one covering yarn and one cross-knitted yarn, and stockings knitted from 100% covering yarn, wherein the covering yarn is a protein-acrylonitrile graft copolymer fiber yarn. These are some stockings.

First, the protein-acrylonitrile graft copolymer fiber yarn used in the present invention is prepared by adding acrylonitrile or other unsaturated compounds copolymerizable with protein or its derivatives to a solvent containing zinc chloride or rhodan salt as a main component. The protein-acrylonitrile graft polymer solution obtained by the solution polymerization described below is wet-spun, and the resulting wet fibers are dried depending on the protein content in the graft polymer. The resulting fibers have a breaking strength of 2 to 5.5 g/d.
It is sufficient if the N-break elongation is 10 to 45% and the boiling water shrinkage is 2 to 6%.

Further, it is preferable that the protein-acrylonitrile graft copolymer fiber yarn has a torque denier in a range of 10 to 50 deniers. This is because if the knitted fabric exceeds 50 denier, the thickness of the knitted fabric increases, the appearance worsens, and the feel becomes hard, making it difficult to create stockings that have both the appearance quality and wearability that are the objectives of the present invention. Also, if it is less than 10 denier, the yarn strength will decrease,
This is because yarn breakage and filament cracking are likely to occur during yarn processing and knitting, resulting in poor operability and the resulting stockings having many defects.

As mentioned above, functionality when worn means that it feels comfortable to wear.In order to achieve a comfortable wearing feeling, it is necessary to have heat retention, the ability of the fibers to absorb moisture from the skin, and to quickly absorb it. Drying performance is important.

The protein-acrylonitrile graft copolymer fiber used in the present invention has excellent heat retention properties and has excellent ability to absorb and diffuse moisture compared to polyamide synthetic fibers, silk, and cotton. They feel smooth to wear even when sweating, and are effective in eliminating the unpleasant stuffiness and stickiness caused by sweat that conventional stockings have.

In addition, the covered yarn and/or the interlaced yarn of the covering yarn,
By mixing protein-acrylonitrile graft copolymer fiber with polyamide multifilament yarn or its processed yarn, it is possible to increase the strength compared to using only protein-acrylonitrile graft copolymer fiber yarn, making it possible to improve the strength of stretching and soaking. It can also meet the required quality of durability.
