Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress deformation of rollers, prevent deformation of a material to be fired and carry out stable production, by providing back-up rollers for rollers in a firing zone, along the whole or part of the length of the firing-zone rollers. CONSTITUTION:A roller-hearth kiln 1 comprises rollers 5, roller bearings 6, 7, driving-side roller bearings 8, 9, a refractory heat-insulating cover 10, a duct 11, back-up rollers 12, roller bearings 13-16 for the rollers 12, a gearing 17 and a chain 18. The rollers 12 are so disposed as to support only the rollers 5 located in a firing zone 3. This arrangement ensures that the rollers 5 are little deformed, the useful life of the rollers 5 is prolonged, and a reduction in cost can be contrived. Further, a material A to be fired is heated uniformly without deformation, so that a higher yield and higher productivity can be achieved.

A roller hearth kiln consists of a large number of hollow rods (pipes) arranged side by side in a ladder shape at a predetermined pitch, and both ends of the rods are placed between rollers, and the rollers rotate or a chain is turned by a gear fixed to the pipe itself. The cover is equipped with insulation and ducts to prevent heat radiation and control temperature.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, in a roller hearth kiln, there is a risk that the firing section in particular may be heated to about 1,400 to 1,500°C, and even with a heat-resistant alumina roll, the fired product may be heated for a long time. Because it was placed and rotated, it was often deformed. In particular, when the length of the roller reached 1000 mm, a considerable concentrated load was applied to the center as a dynamic load, resulting in large deformation and the life span being 115th compared to conventional rollers.

In order to eliminate these drawbacks, the present invention interposes a bank unroller in a small number of rollers (even if they exist in a harsh area) to suppress the deformation of the rollers and also prevent deformation of the object to be fired, thereby making it stable. We propose a roller hearth kiln that enables production, has a long life, and reduces costs.

EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION Below, one Example of the roller hearth kiln based on this invention is described in detail using drawings. FIG. 1 is an explanatory diagram showing an embodiment of a roller hearth kiln according to the present invention, and the soil is a roller hearth kiln which is composed of a preheating section 2, a baking section 3, and a slow cooling section 4 as shown in FIG. do. To explain further, the roller hearth kiln has a roller 5 and a roller receiver 6.
.. 7 and drive side roller receiver 8.9 and fireproof, heat insulating cover 1
0, duct 11, backup roller 12 and hacka・
It is composed of roller supports 13, 14, 15, 16 of the pump roller 12, a gear 17, a chain etc. 18, and a heat source (not shown). The roller 5 has a diameter of 30 to 100 φ
, the length is about 600 to 1500m+n, and it is formed from one type of ceramic roller or alumina roller. Further, the roller receiver 6.7.15.16 has a structure in which the end of the roller 5.12 is placed on the outside of the fireproof and heat insulating cover 10, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 3. The roller receivers 8.9.13.14 are on the drive side and are driven by a chain or the like 18 or by a gear 17a.
, 17b are fixedly installed as shown in FIG.
, 17b are driven and rotated by a chain or the like 18. The fireproof and heat insulating cover 10 surrounds the space through which the material to be fired A passes through with fireproof bricks and noncombustible materials (rock wool, etc.).
and provide an opening for passage of the object to be fired. Of course, the fireproof and heat insulating cover 10 is equipped with a duct 11, a heat source supply port, an air supply port, a cold air supply port, etc. (not shown).

Next, to briefly explain the operation using Fig. 4, the temperature of the preheating section 2 is now 300°C, and the temperature of the baking section 3 is 13
00'C1 The temperature of the slow cooling section 4 was 500 to 100''C, and the backup roller 12 was arranged only on the roller 5 of the baking section 3 as shown in FIG.
)~(As shown in the figure, the material A to be fired is made by extruding clay in a certain shape, and the moisture content is reduced to about 0 to 5% in a drying furnace 19. After that, it is cut into regular lengths with a cutter 20, and then heated in a roller hearth kiln. continuously fed on top.

Incidentally, the size of the object to be fired A when dried is 30 am in thickness, 600 mm in width, and 4000 m in length. In addition, the roller 5 was set to 1000 mm, and the conveyance speed was set to 200 m/min. Therefore, there was a large difference in deformation of the roller 5 of the baking section 30 between the conventional type in which the roller 5 was used as a single unit and the apparatus of the present invention in which the backup roller 12 was provided. In particular, the single conventional roller 5 was deformed to about 1 oan in one day, the object to be fired A was also deformed, other distortions were found, and problems such as non-uniform heating were also observed. On the other hand, on the roller hearth kiln according to the present invention, the above-mentioned deformation was not observed at all, and stable production was possible. Of course, the lifespan has been significantly extended and costs have been reduced.
