Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a malfunction by providing a temp. sensor which detects the temp. in a vehicle near the part where a gas sensor is mounted and controlling the input of a motor according to a difference in the signals between the gas sensor and the temp. sensor. CONSTITUTION:The in-vehicle air sucked from a suction port 18 is subjected to removal of dust by a wire net 25 of an electric discharge device 19 when a motor 13 is driven. The fine dust is adsorbed by an electrostatic filter 28. The temp. of the gas sensor 2 rises as the gas sensor 2 adsorbs the gaseous components entering from a ventilation port 5. The motor 13 is controlled by a control circuit 26 according to this signal. The signal from the gas sensor 2 and the signal from the temp. sensor 8 are compared and the contamination of the air in the vehicle room is detected by making investigation that the temp. rise of the gas sensor 2 is not the temp. rise in the vehicle. Since the generation of the malfunction is obviated in this way, the state in the vehicle is maintained always clean.

Furthermore, even if the air inside the vehicle is dirty, when the cold air cooled by the air conditioner reaches the gas sensor 51, the temperature of the gas sensor 51 does not rise, so air pollution cannot be detected and the air purifier is not operated. In this way, a malfunction occurs in the detection of air pollution in the vehicle interior, and the in-vehicle air purifier does not function properly.

Effects of the Invention As is clear from the description of the above embodiments, the present invention has a temperature sensor installed close to the mounting part for attaching the gas sensor of the air purifier, so that the temperature inside the car can be detected at the same time as the dirt inside the car. Since the motor input is controlled according to the difference, the gas sensor accurately detects the level of dirt without being affected by temperature changes inside the car, making it possible to provide an in-vehicle air purifier that operates immediately in response to the level of dirt inside the car. You can always keep the inside of your car clean without using unnecessary electricity.

In addition, since there is a shielding wall between the gas sensor and the temperature sensor, there is no effect such as heat generation between the two sensors, and the atmosphere in the nearby area can be detected. It can be made to work as desired, such as being able to react sensitively to air.
