In the case of the above structure, intrusion of rainwater from the outside is almost completely prevented by the lamp housing and the lamp cover attached to the front of the lamp housing, but if water is sprayed vigorously from the hose when washing the car, some may enter through the small gap between the lamp housing and the lamp cover. especially,
There is a problem in that water droplets accumulated inside the light-shielding wall cannot be easily discharged due to surface tension, resulting in an unsightly appearance.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides an automotive lamp in which a plurality of vertically independent lamp chambers are formed in a lamp housing holding a bulb by a light shielding wall. An inclined surface is formed on the upper surface of the lower side of the light-shielding wall of one or more of the lamp chambers, and the light-shielding wall is formed at the lower end of the slope in the front-rear direction. A cut-out drain groove is formed so that water droplets falling from the drain groove flow down along the outer surface of the side portion of the light-shielding wall of the lower lamp chamber.

That is, water droplets accumulated on the upper surface of the lower side of the light-shielding wall of the upper lamp flow downward due to the slope of the slope and fall from the drain groove. The fallen water droplets flow along the outer side surface of the light-shielding wall of the lower lamp, do not flow into the inside of the light-shielding wall of the lower lamp, and can be smoothly discharged to the outside. Note that a drain hole may be provided in place of the above-mentioned drain groove, but it is difficult to form a drain hole due to the molding of the lamp housing, and moreover, the drain groove is easier to open over the entire width of the slope. It has good water removal performance.

FIGS. 1 and 2 show an example of an automobile lamp according to the present invention, in which 1 is a resin lamp housing that holds two bulbs 2 and 3 at upper and lower positions. An outer wall 4 is integrally formed around the entire circumference of the lamp housing 1, and light shielding walls 5 and 8 are integrally formed inside the outer wall 4 to form two independent lamp chambers A and B in the vertical direction. has been done. On the upper surface of the lower side 5a of the upper light-shielding wall 5, there are mountain-shaped slopes 6a, 6 that slope downward from the center to both sides.
At the lower end of the side portion 5b of the light shielding wall 5, which faces the lower end portions of these inclined surfaces 6a and 6b, a bulging portion 5c that bulges out to both sides is formed. A drainage groove 7 opened downward is provided between the lower end portions of the inclined surfaces 6a, 6b and the bulging portion 5c.
a and 7b are formed by cutting out the light shielding wall 5 in the front-rear direction. These drainage grooves 7a, 7b
is located above the side portion 8b of the lower light shielding wall 8.

Reference numeral 10 denotes a lamp cover that also serves as a lens, and a peripheral wall 1 that fits inside the outer wall 4 is provided on the inner surface of the lamp cover.
1 is integrally formed, and a light shielding wall 1 is located in the center between light shielding walls 5 and 8 to prevent light leakage.
2 is formed. A water drain opening 11a is formed in the lower side of the peripheral wall 11 at a position corresponding to the water drain opening 4a of the outer wall 4, and when the lamp housing 1 and lamp cover 10 are combined, both water drains are formed. A curved water passage is formed by the openings 4a and 11a. In addition, the opening for draining water is located in the outer wall 4.
Alternatively, it may be provided only on one side of the peripheral wall 11.

In the lamp having the above structure, even if rainwater accumulates on the lamp housing 1 or the lamp cover 10, there is almost no risk of water intruding into the outer wall, and the outer wall 4 and the peripheral wall 11
Flows down along the circumferential surface of the However, when water is vigorously sprayed from a hose when washing a car, a portion of the water enters the lamp through the gap between the outer wall 4 and the peripheral wall 11, travels along the inner surface of the lamp cover 10, and reaches the lower side of the light-shielding wall 5 of the upper lamp chamber A. It may accumulate on the upper surface of 5a. In this case, since the sloped surfaces 6a and 6b are formed on the lower side 5a of the light shielding wall 5, the water droplets overcome the surface tension and flow to both sides on the sloped surfaces 6a and 6b, and the water droplets flow in the drain grooves 7a and 7b. falls downward from. The fallen water droplets are removed from the light-shielding wall 8 of the lower lamp chamber B.
side piece 8 of the light shielding wall 8 without flowing into the inside of the light shielding wall 8.
b, and after falling onto the lower side of the outer wall 4, is discharged to the outside through the drainage openings 4a, 11a.

During watering with a hose, some of the water droplets may enter the light-shielding wall 8 of the lower lamp chamber B, but the lower side 8a of this light-shielding wall 8 is lower than the upper side or side piece 8b as shown in FIG. Since it is formed low, water droplets accumulated on the upper surface of the lower side portion 8a easily fall onto the lower side portion of the outer wall 4, and there is no fear that water droplets remain.

In addition, as the slope formed on the lower side 5a of the light shielding wall 5, instead of the mountain-shaped slope 6a, 6b that slopes from the center to both sides, a slope that is continuous from one left and right end to the other end is used. It is also possible to use a sloped surface that is sloped, but in this case, the slope of the slope cannot be made large, and the flow of water is obstructed, and the light from the bulb 2 is polarized and reflected by the sloped surface.
Lamp performance may be impaired. Therefore,
As mentioned above, the chevron-shaped inclined surfaces 6a, 6 are almost symmetrical on the left and right sides.
It is desirable to provide b.

Further, in the above embodiment, the light shielding walls 5 and 8 for forming two upper and lower lamp chambers A and B are provided in the lamp housing 1, but it is also possible to provide three or more light shielding walls. The present invention can be applied. Furthermore, the mounting structure of the lamp housing 1 and the lamp cover 10 includes the peripheral wall 11 of the lamp cover 10.
It is not limited to the case where the peripheral wall 11 is fitted to the inner circumference of the outer wall 4, but also the structure in which the peripheral wall 11 is fitted to the outer circumference of the light shielding walls 5, 8
Various modifications can be made, such as a structure in which the peripheral wall 11 is fitted into a groove between the outer wall 4 and the light shielding walls 5 and 8.

As is clear from the above explanation, according to the present invention, the water droplets accumulated on the upper surface of the lower side of the light-shielding wall of the upper lamp chamber are caused to flow downward by the slope of the slope, and from the water drain groove to the lower lamp chamber. Since water is discharged to the outside along the outer surface of the side portion of the light-shielding wall, water droplets do not accumulate inside the light-shielding wall of the lower lamp chamber as well as inside the light-shielding wall of the upper lamp chamber. Therefore, it is possible to eliminate the problem of light reflecting off water droplets when the lamp is turned on.
