Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the title plant with the color retained semipermanently through such processes that an object such as an animal or plant is placed on a highly water-absorptive cloth or paper to remove the water contained in the object, and pressed into a flake using a hot press, and the flake is placed on a mount followed by covering the entire surface of the resulting system with a transparent film and then carrying out hot pressing. CONSTITUTION:An object such as a plant, insect, fish, seaweed or ore is placed on a highly water-absorptive cloth or paper to remove to some extent the water contained in the object along with its trimming, and pressed at a level of 1kg/cm<2> for one hour to half a day. The resulting object is withdrawn and, to completely remove the residual water, pressed e.g. under a pressure of 5kg/cm<2> at 200 deg.C for ca.5 sec using a hot press into a flake. This flake is then placed on a specified mount, and the resulting system is wrapped with a laminated film followed by carrying out hot pressing, thus obtaining the objective perfectly sealed dry plant. With the present method, the mass production of dry plants can be accomplished without changing the natural color inherent therein with the color retained semipermanently.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to a dry plant and a method for producing the same, and in particular, it permanently maintains the natural color of plants, seaweeds, insects, etc. to be coated. The present invention also relates to a dry plant that can be easily produced and does not easily lose its shape, and a method for producing the same.

[Prior art and problems to be solved by the present invention] In the conventional dry plant manufacturing method, hygroscopic paper such as Japanese paper is applied as a mount on a transparent film coated with an adhesive liquid on one side, and laminated in the gap. There is a method in which pressed flowers, etc. to be covered are placed in a layer and bonded under pressure using a pressure roll or a pressure press.

On the other hand, for pressed flowers covered with a transparent film, there is a method to maintain the color close to its natural color by using chemicals to prevent fading before laminating, but it takes a long time to prevent fading, and it is difficult to mass produce. Not suitable for sex. In this regard, a conventional method of drying by sunlight irradiation without using chemicals or the like may be considered, but this also requires a long drying time and is not suitable for mass production.

If objects such as pressed flowers are sandwiched between the above-mentioned Japanese paper or other paper mounts and are not sufficiently dried, moisture will gradually condense and absorb moisture due to sunlight or a high-temperature and humid environment after being covered with a film. It oozes into the backing paper such as dry paper, making it impossible to keep the original shape of the dry plant as originally desired. Particularly during the rainy season, mold may form on the back of the mount. In addition, especially when preserving valuable plants as specimens, it is impossible to satisfy the desire to preserve them semi-permanently with colors closer to natural colors.

[Means and effects for solving the problems] The present invention has been made in view of the above, and it greatly reduces the drying processing time or compression processing time of conventional pressed flowers, etc., and achieves mass production that can be processed in a short time. In order to manufacture a dry plant using a simple method that does not discolor the natural color of the object and does not fade semi-permanently, we use highly water-absorbing cloth during the dehydration and compression process of the object. Alternatively, as a pre-process, moisture is removed from an object placed on paper, etc., and the object is molded into a shape that should be preserved. After that, in order to completely remove moisture from the object, a thermocompression press is used to remove moisture. The object is made into a pressurized flake at a given pressure and temperature.

Furthermore, the crimped object is placed on a predetermined mount, the whole is covered with a transparent film, and then heated and crimped with a laminating machine so that the entire front and back surfaces are completely hermetically covered with the transparent film. It provides a plant and its manufacturing method.

The present invention uses a simple method to maintain the original shape of a wide range of objects in their natural colors, and since the laminate itself is thin, it can be used for decorative purposes (for example, folding screens, sliding doors, scrolls, posters, etc.). It is a versatile product that can be used not only as a specimen for permanent preservation of natural objects, but also as a functional underlay, book cover/back cover, table overlay, and the exterior of various boxes. The present invention provides a dry plant with high properties and a method for producing the same.

■ First step Processing conditions are adjusted separately depending on the moisture content or volume of each object, but for example, objects such as plants (single or multiple objects) are treated with highly water-absorbing cloth or paper. Insert it by etc. In the case of the above-mentioned cloth, for example, it is made of 100% cotton and has a thickness of about 3 mm (Japan Towel, etc.), and in the case of paper, for example, it is sandwiched between virgin paper (about 1 mm thick) or dust paper (0.5 mm thick).

(2) Second step After the first step, the object is taken out and placed on the lower surface (lower iron) of a crimping machine heated to a predetermined temperature in order to completely remove moisture. The lower surface is made of 100% absorbent cotton.
Spread a layer of batter approximately 3 mm thick, press down on the upper surface (upper trowel), and apply pressure for a predetermined period of time. For example, the aforementioned maple leaves with a thickness of about 1 m+n are heated at a pressure of 5 kg/cffl and a temperature of about 200° C. for about 5 seconds.

As a result, moisture can be completely removed from the object, and the object can be fixed and molded into a predetermined shape to make the object thinner. The above process is illustrated in FIG. 1(b). For example, the object 1 is placed on a cotton cloth 3 in its molded form, and then placed on a lower surface (lower iron) 4 that is a base of a heat-press bonding machine. After that, the upper surface (upper iron) 5, which is a hot plate heated to a predetermined temperature from above, is connected to the handle lever (not shown).
Pressure is applied. The pressing force can be adjusted by the amount of displacement that resists the elastic member that supports the lower surface 4.

Furthermore, the crimped object was placed on a predetermined mount, the entire object was covered with a transparent film, and then heated and crimped using a laminating machine so that the entire front and back sides were covered with a transparent film. This greatly reduces the drying processing time or 4° compression processing time for pressed flowers, etc., making it possible to handle mass production in a short period of time. A dry plant that does not fade can be produced by a simple method.
