Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate a process and to obtain a decorative material having sufficient surface hardness by using a heat-adhesive sheet as a means compounding a thermoplastic resin material and a thermosetting resin material and using a film having an ionizing radiation curable resin layer provided to the surface thereof as the uppermost layer of the decorative material. CONSTITUTION:A composite decorative material of a thermoplastic resin and a thermosetting resin is prepared by laminating a heat-adhesive sheet 2, a colored thermoplastic resin film 3 provided with a pattern layer 3' if necessary and a transparent or colored transparent thermoplastic resin film 4 having an ionizing radiation curable resin layer 5 provided to the surface thereof to a base material 1 containing a thermosetting resin as a component and pressing all of them under heating to subject the same to hot-press molding. The base material 1 containing the thermosetting resin as a component is obtained, for example, by coating, mixing or impregnating a fibrous base material with the thermosetting resin and the heat-adhesive sheet 2 to be used is formed by impregnating, mixing or coating a fibrous sheet with a thermoplastic resin or a thermosetting resin. The ionizing radiation curable resin layer 5 has function imparting sufficient hardness to the surface of a decorative material.

[Prior art] In the method of manufacturing decorative boards, thermoplastic resin decorative boards (PVC decorative boards, etc.) and thermosetting resin decorative boards (melamine decorative boards, etc.) are used.
DAP decorative laminates, unsaturated polyester resin decorative laminates, etc.) have been put into practical use, but there is only a small amount of disclosure regarding the production of composite decorative materials of the two. For example, there is a method for manufacturing a decorative material in which a thermosetting resin-impregnated paper and a synthetic resin film having a primer layer are sequentially laminated on a base material (Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 122149/1983), and , a method for manufacturing a decorative material (Japanese Patent Publication No. 54674/1983) has been proposed in which a decorative laminating sheet made of hardened impregnated paper and a transparent thermoplastic resin is laminated.

However, the conventional method of laminating synthetic resin films having the above-mentioned primer layer (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 60-1221
No. 49), it is practically difficult to select and apply the primer layer, and the surface hardness of the resulting decorative material is insufficient. In addition, a surface layer of transparent thermoplastic resin was formed on pre-cured impregnated paper (Japanese Patent Publication No. 62-54674).
However, the manufacturing process was complicated and difficult, and the surface hardness of the resulting decorative material was also insufficient.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention is intended to solve the above-mentioned problems, and uses a thermoadhesive sheet as a means for compositing a thermoplastic resin material and a thermosetting resin material. In addition, by using a film with an ionizing radiation-curable resin layer on the surface as the top layer of the decorative material, the process is easier than with conventional methods, the resulting product surface has sufficient hardness, and it is thermoplastic. The present invention relates to a manufacturing method that makes it possible to express beautiful patterns that cannot be expressed by printing on paper, when a pattern layer printed on a thermoplastic resin film is used as part of the resin material.
