Abstract

PURPOSE:To quickly and exactly extract a vacant bed provided with the equipment conforming to a state, a requirement, etc., of a patient by registering a sickroom equipment condition in a sickroom state file so that it can be retrieved. CONSTITUTION:From a terminal equipment 4, a ward number, a sickroom number of the ward concerned, and also, the number of beds, and sickroom equipment codes of 1-(m) pieces with regard to each sickroom of the ward concerned are inputted, processed by a central processor equipment 3 and registered in a sickroom state file 6. As for the sickroom equipment, the equipments e.g. an oxygen inhaler, an intravenous feeding device, a television, a telephone, etc., are coded. When the sickroom equipment codes are designated by the maximum (m) pieces by the terminal equipment 4, the central processing unit 3 reads in the sickroom state file 6 and refers to successively bed using information with regard to the sickroom including the designated equipments, and writes a sickroom number of the bed for which using information is not set, the sickroom equipment, and the number of vacant beds in a retrieval result tentatively storing file 5. Subsequently, the retrieval result tentatively storing file 5 is read in, and displayed as condition conforming sickroom information on the terminal equipment 4.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention relates to a bed management system for managing the bed usage status of a medical information system, and in particular, the present invention relates to a bed management system for managing the bed usage status of a medical information system, and in particular, the present invention relates to a bed management system for managing bed usage status in a medical information system. This paper relates to a vacant bed search method for a bed management system that searches and displays . [Prior Art] In conventional bed management, the main function was to refer to the users and availability of each bed in each hospital room by specifying the ward or room. "About bed management at Shiga University of Medical Sciences Hospital" (materials from the 5th Nursing Information System Study Group Lecture, June 10, 1989), the above functions include detailed user information, admission/discharge, department transfer, and wing transfer. A reference to the schedule has been added. [Problems to be Solved by the Invention] The above-mentioned prior art does not take into account the need to quickly and accurately search for vacant beds with suitable facilities that meet the conditions and requests of inpatients, The purpose of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned problems of the prior art, and to make it possible to meet the conditions by specifying the hospital room equipment. The purpose of this invention is to provide a vacant bed search method for a bed management system that can search for and display vacant beds and perform optimal bed allocation accurately and quickly. [Means for solving the problem] In order to achieve the above purpose, we created a patient attribute file used in the conventional bed management system, a file for registering room information for each patient's calendar, and a file for registering bed slots for all patient rooms. This system uses a ward status file, registers ward equipment conditions in the ward status file, and adds a means for searching. [Operation] The present invention sets ward room usage information using a ward status file in which ward equipment conditions are registered, a patient attribute file, and a file in which ward room information for each patient's calendar is registered. Hospital room equipment conditions are registered in this hospital room status file.

Search the ward status file using the conditions of any number of ward facilities specified according to the condition and request of the inpatient, and if all the conditions are met, check whether there is a vacant bed in the ward. If there is an empty bed, it will be checked. By displaying this information on a display device, it becomes possible to quickly and accurately search for vacant beds that match the inpatient's condition and requests. In this case, the search results may be written to a temporary file or buffer memory, and after the above processing is completed for all hospital rooms, empty bed information may be read out from the file or buffer memory and displayed.

Hereinafter, one embodiment of the present invention will be explained in detail using the drawings. Figure 1 is a block diagram showing an example of a bed management system in a hospital that searches for vacant beds based on bed usage status and room equipment. As a preparatory step for implementing a bed management system, it is necessary to register ward and patient room information.
This process is composed of a central processing unit 3, a terminal device 4, and a hospital room status file 6. From the terminal device 4, input the ward number, the room number of the ward, and the number of beds and room equipment codes 1 to m for each room in the ward, process them in the central processing unit 3, and register them in the room status file 6. do. For example, hospital room equipment codes are codes for equipment such as oxygen inhalation equipment, intravenous drip equipment, televisions, and telephones. The above process is carried out for all wards and rooms of the hospital. Figure 4 shows the structure of the created hospital room status file. When referring to the usage status of hospital rooms, the process for displaying hospital room equipment as equipment names instead of codes is performed by the terminal device 4,
This is done with the configuration of a central processing unit 3 and a code file 7. The equipment code and equipment name are entered from the terminal device 4, processed by the central processing unit 3, and registered in the code file 7. The structure of the code file 7 is shown in FIG.

Furthermore, the determined hospital number is sent to the terminal device 4 along with the patient number.
, and processed by the central processing unit 3 to create the patient admission information file 2. Figure 3 shows the structure of the patient admission information file. The updating process of the hospital room status file 6 is carried out by the terminal device 4, the patient attribute file 1, the patient admission information file 2, the central processing unit 3
Consists of. When the terminal W4 instructs to update the hospital room status file 6, the central processing unit I! 3 extracts the ward and hospital room number of the processing date on which the patient attribute file 1 and patient admission information file 2 are read. Furthermore, the ward status file 6 is searched using the extracted ward and ward number, and the patient's name and gender are set from the beginning of the bed usage information for the ward and ward. The above processing is performed until the end of patient hospitalization information file 2. Extraction and reference processing of vacant bed information by specifying hospital room equipment is as follows:
It is composed of a terminal device 4, a central processing unit 3, a hospital room status file 6, and a search result temporary storage file 5.

The flow of processing will be explained below with reference to FIG. First, a maximum of m hospital room equipment codes are specified on the terminal device 4 (71).
The central processing unit 3 reads the hospital room status file 6 (72)
.. Bed usage information is sequentially referenced for the hospital rooms containing the specified equipment, and the room number, room equipment, and number of vacant beds for beds for which usage information is not set (vacant beds) are written to file 5 that temporarily stores search results (73 ~75). The above process is performed for all wards and rooms. After this process is completed, the search result temporary storage file 5 is read and the terminal device 4
is displayed as condition-matching hospital room information (76). An example of the structure of data stored in the search result temporary storage file 5 is shown in the sixth example.
As shown in the figure.
