Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve working efficiency by providing a carriage to convey a rack of a communication device, being high as against a floor area, along a rail installed on the ceiling of a shop and engaging the carriage with the rail through operation of a roller support mechanism with which the carriage itself is provided. CONSTITUTION:A carriage for a rack of a communication device is formed such that a pair of stays 3 and 3' are secured to both sides of a pallet 2 runnable over a floor by means of casters 1 and the upper parts of the stays are intercoupled through a coupling member 4. Longitudinally protruding C- shaped structures 5 and 5' are mounted on the intermediate part of the one stay 3, and the one member 5 is removable. A roller support mechanism 7 having a manually-elevated slide member 6 is arranged in the upper regions of the stays 3 and 3', and mounted on and demounted from a rail 10 installed along a ceiling. In loading of a rack 11 on the truck, the rack 11 is placed on the pallet 2 in a state to remove the one C-shaped structure 5, and thereafter the rear surface side of the mounted rack 11 is pressed by the removed C-shaped structure 5.

These racks are tall compared to the base area and have a height of 2 to 3 (2) m, making them unstable, but after being delivered to the customer, the bottom plate is fixed to the floor and the ceiling is fixed. The plate member is fixed to a beam or the like so that it can be stably installed so that it will not fall over in the event of an earthquake or the like. However, in order to store this rack in a warehouse or to assemble or inspect it in a factory before shipping, it is not a good idea to completely fix the rack as described above because it takes time and effort. I often work while I'm in the room. For this reason, there is a need for a structure of a cart that is easy to move and can stably support the frame.

(3) The drawback of this trolley is that the position where the hook 23 can be engaged and disengaged from the rail 22 is limited to the open end of the rail, as is clear from the figure. It was not possible to place the cart on or take it off the rail at this position.

In order to solve this drawback, as shown in FIG.
The frame 24 is lifted together with the balent 21 using a forklift 1-25, and the hook is made by engaging and disengaging the metal fittings 23' from above to the rail 22'. However, this method requires the use of a forklift, which is particularly inconvenient when working in a factory with a small floor space.

(4) [Means for solving the problem] The purpose was to develop a trolley for transporting racks for communication equipment, which are extremely tall compared to the floor area, along rails laid on the ceiling of the factory. Supports are fixed vertically on both sides of a pallet with casters for mounting the rack, and a roller support mechanism is provided on the top of each support that is movable up and down along the support and rotatable around a vertical axis. This is achieved by means of a rack transport cart, characterized in that the rollers provided at the upper end of the mechanism can be engaged with and disengaged from the rails by mounting, vertically and rotationally operating the roller support mechanism. .

To engage the truck with the rail, first position the truck directly below the rail. The roller support mechanism is then operated to raise the roller to a higher position than the rail and to align the orientation of the roller with the orientation of the rail. Then, operate the roller support mechanism again to lower the roller, and position it so that the roller contacts (5) the rail and occupies a stable position. As a result, the cart is stably supported at its lower end by casters on the floor and by rollers engaged with the rail at its upper end, and can be moved along the rails with a small amount of force.

As shown by the two-dot chain line in FIG. 2, when the roller support mechanism 7 is in the standby position, the roller group occupies a position lower than the rail 10. In order to engage the roller group with the rail, the truck is brought to a position directly below the rail 10, or the slide member 6 is raised from the standby position to raise the roller group higher than the rail 10. 6 to match the direction of the rollers 9a, 9b with the direction of the rail 10, and then lower the slide member 6 so that vertical #≧*=roller 9a, - as shown in the figure.
The rail 10 is received between the rails 9b so that the horizontal roller 9C contacts the upper surface of the rail 10 so that the roller support mechanism 7 is supported. On the other hand, in order to remove the roller group from the rail 10 from this state, it is sufficient to perform an operation completely opposite to the previous operation.

(b) The rack 11 is supported from both sides by the claws 13 of the forklift 12, and the rack 11 is gently inserted into the truck in a direction perpendicular to the rails 10 from the side from which the 0-shaped structure 5 has been removed. In this case, it is necessary to accurately align the pallet 2 and forklift 12. Then, as shown by the dotted line in the figure, the forward movement of the forklift 12 is stopped when the front end of the claw 13 on one side comes into contact with the inner surface of the 0-shaped structure 5''.

At this contact position, the center axis of the rack and the vertical axis of the cart are set to coincide, so that the rack 11 can be placed on the narrow pallet 2 in a well-balanced manner.

As shown in FIG. 4, the claws 13 of this forklift 12 have a wide width a on the side that contacts the O-shaped structure 5 when inserting the rack, which is necessary to ensure the contact. However, the claw on the other side (9) should have the narrowest width possible. The reason for this is that the spacing between the supports 3 and 3' of the truck needs to be set so that the claws of the forklift that supported the frame 11 can pass through, but by reducing the width of the claws, the spacing between the supports can be narrowed. This is because the required space of the entire truck can be saved.

[Effects of the Invention] As described above, the trolley of the present invention can be engaged with and disengaged from the rail at any location by operating the roller support mechanism provided in the trolley, and it is not necessary to use a forklift as in the past. It is also possible to significantly improve engagement and disengagement operations that are limited to specific locations. As a result, whereas previously it was only possible to inspect the racks in the order in which they were lined up on the rail, it is now possible to pull out the trolleys in the middle and give them priority work as needed. Improves efficiency. In addition, by adopting a special zero-shaped structure, loading and unloading of racks can be easily performed.
