From this, as shown in Figure 7(a), the opened passbook 5
The friction member 52 is brought into contact with the paper sheet 51 of 0 and rotated to raise the paper sheet 51 as shown in FIG. 7(b) and (c). At this time, as shown in FIG. 7(b) A separating bin 53 is inserted under the raised sheet 51 to prevent the next page of sheets 51 from overlapping, and the friction member 52 is moved as shown in FIGS. 7(d) and (e). There is a page turning device in which a sheet of paper 51 that has been raised is turned over to the opposite side. Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 8, there is an invention in which marks 54 are attached to each page of a bankbook 50, and multiple turning is prevented by detecting these marks 54. In addition, although not shown, as described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 1-176595, a friction member is used to separate the paper sheets under the curved portion that occurs when the passbook is conveyed by pressing it against the top end of the opened passbook. There is a page turning device that separates paper sheets one by one by inserting a bin. Furthermore, as described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 56-784.7, when a pair of friction rollers are rotated in the same direction and a plurality of sheets of paper are inserted between these friction rollers, , one friction roller feeds the top layer of paper in one direction, while the other friction roller returns the next layer of paper in the opposite direction starting from the bottom layer, thereby preventing multiple feeding of paper sheets. There is a sheet feeding device that does this.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention The page turning device shown in FIG. 7 and the invention described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 1-176595 are intended for turning the pages of passbooks whose size is approximately constant and whose paper sheets are thick. However, if the thickness and paper quality of the paper sheets differ, it is not possible to turn the pages reliably. Photographic devices such as scanners and microfilm collect information on a wide range of subjects, and the thickness and quality of paper sheets vary depending on books and magazines.Printing devices also require printing not only on passbooks but also on other notebooks. There is,
In either case, the thickness and paper quality of the paper sheets often differ, so a highly versatile page turning device is required. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 8, it is unrealistic to apply to books, magazines, or notebooks a mark to be detected on each page of a passbook to prevent multiple page-turning.

Operation A part of the opened sheet of the booklet supported by the booklet support plate can be held between the feed roller and the reverse roller, and in this state, the feed roller pulls the sheet from the booklet support plate while the reverse roller moves. In order to return the paper sheet to the booklet support plate side, the reverse roller returns the other overlapping paper sheets until one sheet remains between the feed roller and the reverse roller, and the returned paper sheet is supported by the paper sheet support. Therefore, the pressure means can press the single sheet of paper left between the feed roller and the reverse roller to move this single sheet of paper to a predetermined position in the opposite direction to the sheet support. By turning the sheet twice and retracting the sheet support from the space between the booklet support plate and the reverse roller, the sheet to be turned next is returned by its own weight to a position where it interferes with the pressing means. I can do it.

Effects of the Invention As described above, the present invention provides a booklet support plate having a support surface for supporting an opened booklet and an opening formed in the support surface from which sheets of some pages of the booklet protrude, a feed roller that rotates in a direction that contacts the paper leaf of the booklet protruding from the opening and pulls the paper leaf against the booklet support plate; A holding means is provided for holding a reverse roller which is arranged opposite to the feed roller and rotates in the same direction as the feed roller so as to be able to approach and separate, and at least one of the feed roller and the reverse roller is brought close to each other. A paper leaf support is provided which is biased by a biasing means in the direction of the booklet support plate and moves freely forward and backward into the space between one end of the booklet support plate and the reverse roller to support the end of the paper leaf; Since a pressure means is provided for applying pressure to the paper sheet in a direction opposite to the paper sheet support from a position facing the binding part of the booklet, some of the opened sheets of the booklet supported by the booklet support plate are provided. The leaf can be held between the feed roller and the reverse roller, and in this state, the feed roller pulls the leaf from the booklet support plate while the reverse roller returns the leaf to the booklet support plate. The reverse roller returns the overlapping paper sheets until a single sheet remains between them, and the returned paper sheet can be supported by the paper support. This single sheet of paper can be turned over to a predetermined position in the opposite direction to the sheet support by applying pressure to the sheet of paper left in between, and furthermore, the sheet of paper left between the booklet support plate and the reverse roller can be turned over. By retracting the sheet support from the space, the sheet to be turned next can be returned by its own weight to a position where it interferes with the pressing means, and the sheet can be turned over by the pressing means. This has the advantage of eliminating the need for marking the booklet to prevent multiple turning.
