DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention relates to an oral composition, and more specifically, to a composition stably containing salt as a medicinal agent for the prevention and remission of chronic marginal mycobacterial inflammation. The present invention relates to oral compositions such as toothpastes and topical gingival preparations. [Prior Art] Periodontal diseases are two major diseases in the oral cavity along with dental caries. Chronic marginal periodontitis, or so-called alveolar pyorrhea, is one of the periodontal diseases, and has become a serious problem in today's aging society. Therefore, its prevention and treatment are based on oral hygiene,
It has a very important meaning, and toothpaste with salt as a medicinal agent is commercially available as a toothpaste for this purpose. By the way, the effects of table salt have been reported in several documents. Held used hypertonic saline to reduce edema, activate blood circulation, and promote interstitial fluid exchange, and attributed these effects to the high osmotic pressure of saline (J.Periodont.,
34, 521-523, 1963). In addition, Nakamura et al. applied saline to inflamed gingiva in humans, and found that its dehydration effect had an effect on the gingival mucosal capillaries (Nippon Dentorrhea, 8 ,
50, 1966). Furthermore, Hayashi et al. (Japanese Periodontal Journal, 10 , 18-22,
(1968), Shioya et al. (Dental Perspective, 34 , 169-172, 1969)
obtained good results against periodontal disease by using pasta containing 30% salt, and Suzuki et al. showed that by applying pasta containing various concentrations of salt to carrageenan granulation tissue, more than 15% It has been reported that a reduction in inflammatory foci was observed depending on the concentration. As described above, it has been known that common salt is effective in preventing or treating alveolar pyorrhea, and the higher the concentration of salt, the higher the effect. [Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, when salt is added at a high concentration to enhance the effect, the saltiness becomes strong and the palatability as an oral composition is significantly impaired. It was wanted. [Means for Solving the Problems] In view of the above circumstances, the present inventors have worked diligently to obtain an oral composition that contains a high concentration of common salt, reduces saltiness, and improves palatability. As a result of research, it was discovered that by incorporating undissolved granular salt with a large particle size into an oral composition, the salty taste was reduced, and the present invention was completed. That is, the present invention provides an oral composition containing 15% by weight or more of common salt,
The present invention provides an oral composition characterized in that the composition contains 5% by weight or more and less than 10% by weight of granular salt containing 60% by weight or more of salt having a diameter of 300 μm or more. Granular salt is crystalline salt, and there are various particle sizes. In the present invention, 60% by weight of this granular salt (hereinafter simply expressed as "%")
Use particles with a particle size of 300 μm or more. Among these, those containing 60% or more of particles with a particle size of 300 μm to 500 μm are more preferable from the viewpoint of feeling when used. The above-mentioned granular salt should be 5% or more in the oral composition.
Contains less than 10% of salt, and the total amount of salt is 15%.
% or more. There is no particular restriction on the upper limit of the amount of salt to be added, but in consideration of the practical shape and form of the oral composition, it is preferably up to about 40%. The oral composition of the present invention is prepared by blending the above-mentioned granular common salt (and common salt) according to a conventional method, and forming the composition into a dosage form such as a toothpaste, oral paste, or gingival liniment. In preparing the oral composition of the present invention, it is particularly important to pay attention to the fact that at least a portion of the salt to be blended has a particle size exceeding 300 μm. For example, granular table salt accounts for 5
%, it is desirable to use granular salt of about 500 μm. Further, other ingredients and medicinal agents can be further added to the oral composition of the present invention as necessary. Other ingredients are not particularly limited and may be any commonly used ingredients. For example, in the case of toothpaste, wetting agents such as glycerin, sorbitol, and propylene glycol, abrasives such as dicalcium phosphate, calcium carbonate, aluminum hydroxide, anhydrous silicic acid, calcium pyrophosphate, and insoluble sodium metaphosphate, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, and carrageenan. , binders such as hydroxyethyl cellulose, surfactants such as sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium lauroyl sarcosinate, N-acyl glutamate, sucrose fatty acid ester, sweeteners such as saccharin sodium, glycyrrhizinate, stevioside, menthol,
Examples include fragrances such as carvone and anethole.
Furthermore, other medicinal agents include, for example, sodium monofluorophosphate, allantoin chlorhydroxyaluminum, hinokitiol, chlorhexidine, lysozyme chloride, dextranase, azulene, vitamin E, and the like. [Effects of the Invention] According to the present invention, salt, which is highly effective in preventing and treating alveolar pyorrhea, can be blended at a high concentration, and saltiness can be reduced to improve palatability. [Example] Next, the present invention will be explained in more detail with reference to Examples. Example 1 Toothpaste compositions having the following compositions were prepared, and the saltiness of these compositions was evaluated by 10 panelists. The results are shown in Table 1. In addition, the proportion and distribution of granular salt in the composition were also measured. [Table] (Measurement of proportion and distribution of granular salt) Measure the amount of undissolved salt in toothpaste and its particle size distribution as follows. First, toothpaste
Disperse 200 g in an appropriate amount of saturated saline, pass through a 100-mesh sieve, wash the residue on the sieve with saturated saline ethanol solution, dry, and measure the weight to determine the proportion and distribution of granular salt. Ta. (Results) [Table]
