Abstract

PURPOSE:To produce concrete block in which appearance of natural stone is represented by forming a formwork of a plate made of fiber reinforced resin wherein the unevenness on the surface of natural stone are thoroughly transcribed and utilizing this formwork. CONSTITUTION:Natural stone 1 is coated with unsaturated polyester resin. Several sheets of nonwoven fabric and woven fabric which are formed of glass fiber are superposed on natural stone 1 to transcribe the unevennesses on the surface of natural stone 1. A transcribed FRP plate 8 is formed into a bottom plate 2 and a side plate 3 which are made of fiber reinforced resin. The side plate 3 is vertically provided around the bottom plate 2 and stuck thereto and also a mold 9 is formed by sticking the side plate 3 with each other. A ring 4 for connection is inserted into the window hole 5 of a formwork 9 and projected to the inside thereof. A mold release agent is applied to the inner face of the formwork 9 and concrete is introduced through the window hole 5. After the concrete is hardened, the formwork 9 is taken off and the upper and lower parts are inverted. Thereby natural stonelike blocks 7 are obtained.
