Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform stable welding with high efficiency without vibration generation of a molten pool of base metals by energizing and heating a wire in advance by electric power impressed through feeding parts. CONSTITUTION:An arc power source 4 is connected to a tungsten electrode 1 and the base metals 2 and a wire heating power source 7 is connected to the feeding parts 8 and 9 provided on a wire feed path till the wire 5 attains the base metals 2 so as not to connect one end to the base metals 2 and the wire 5 is heated by the electric power supplied to the wire 5 through these feeding parts 8 and 9. Accordingly, the wire 5 is not applied with an arc current till attaining the base metals 2 after passing the feeding parts 8 and 9 and arc deflection by a wire current can be almost disregarded in an arc or in the very close vicinity of the arc and an arc blow phenomenon can be obviated substantially. In addition, since it is possible to apply the arc current to a general DC power source, the vibration of the molten pool is not also generated and stable welding can be performed.

TIG welding has the advantage of producing high-quality welds, but has the disadvantage of slow welding speed and low efficiency. As a countermeasure for this, hot wire TIG is used in which the wire is heated in advance.
Welding methods have been put into practical use.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, in the conventional example as described above, the arc 3 interferes with the magnetic field generated by the wire heating current (hereinafter referred to as wire current), and a magnetic blowing phenomenon occurs in which the arc 3 is deflected. There is a problem with poor sex.

In addition, a method has been proposed in which the arc current and wire current are mutually applied to eliminate magnetic blowing, but in this method, the arc pressure changes in synchronization with the switching of the arc current, causing the surface of the molten pool of the base metal to change. There is a problem in that it vibrates, making it difficult to perform stable and efficient welding.

Means for Solving the Problems In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a hot wire type TIG welding device having a non-consumable electrode for welding while feeding an energized and heated wire to a welding part, in which the wire reaches the base metal. A power supply section from a wire heating power source was provided via an insulator in the wire supply path up to the wire supply section, and a hot wire type TIG welding device was created in which the wire was heated in advance by electricity applied through the power supply section.

Operation In the present invention, the arc power source is connected to the tungsten electrode and the base material, and the wire heating power source is connected to a power feeding section provided on the wire feeding path until the wire reaches the base material so as not to connect one end to the base material. The wire is heated by electric power supplied to the wire through this power feeding section.
