Traditionally, methods other than dyeing have been used to add patterns to woven fabrics, etc. by wrapping metallized Japanese paper or film into finely slit gold and silver threads (called Hikihaku or Hirahaku) or other twisted threads. A method of obtaining a woven fabric having a metallic luster color and an arbitrary pattern by using round twisted gold and silver threads in combination with the weft or warp of a woven fabric to be woven, and applying an adhesive to the woven fabric in an arbitrary pattern. A method is known in which a woven fabric having a metallic luster color pattern is obtained by coating the adhesive and pasting a thin film having a metallic luster such as gold or silver foil on the adhesive surface.
The woven fabric obtained by the former method is known as woven fabric using gold and silver thread, and the woven fabric obtained by the latter method is known as Kinsai Yuzen.

However, in the former case, the gold and silver threads are made of paper or synthetic resin film as the base material, so they are different materials from the weft and warp used in general woven fabrics, and their texture is also different from that of the general weft and warp. Hard. Therefore, when gold and silver threads are woven into the fabric, the original texture of the fabric is significantly impaired. Furthermore, when using gold and silver threads based on Japanese paper, it is impossible to soap the resulting woven fabric.

Moreover, in the latter case, there is a problem that the adhesive penetrates between the grains of the woven fabric, and the texture is also significantly impaired.

In view of the above-mentioned points, the present invention provides a yarn that can directly form a pattern on a woven or knitted fabric and provide a woven or knitted fabric with excellent texture by weaving or knitting the same, and a woven or knitted fabric made by weaving or knitting the yarn. is to provide.

That is, the present invention has the following features: (1) A yarn obtained by attaching a colored thin film to an aggregate of a plurality of yarns for weaving and knitting having a circular cross section and arranging them in parallel, and dividing the yarn into individual yarns. (2) the above ( This invention relates to a woven or knitted fabric obtained by weaving or knitting the yarn of item 1) and having a disordered pattern due to a colored thin film in the woven or knitted structure.

FIG. 1 is a partial plan view showing the manufacturing process of the weft or warp of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 1, weft threads (or warp threads) 2 are arranged in parallel on a suitable support 1 to form a weft thread assembly 3. Next, a transfer foil having an adhesive layer is layered on the aggregate 3 and bonded by thermocompression to the entire surface, so that the transfer layer is transferred, and as shown in FIG. 2 (corresponding to the sectional view taken along line A-A in FIG. As shown in FIG. 1 (corresponding to the sectional view taken along the line B--B in FIG. 1), a colored thin film (transfer layer) 4 is adhered to the upper surface of each weft yarn 2 of the aggregate 3 in the drawing. In this way, the weft (or warp) of the present invention having a colored thin film (which means partially having a colored thin film) is obtained.

When the weft yarn 2 having the colored thin film 4 obtained as described above is woven with appropriate warp yarns 5, a streak-like disordered pattern is formed by the colored thin film 4 as shown in FIG. 4 (partial plan view of the woven fabric). A woven fabric having the following properties is obtained. This streaky, disordered pattern is obtained because
As shown in FIG. 5 (an enlarged partial sectional view taken along the line C-C in FIG. 4), the weft yarn 2 has a colored thin film 4 during weaving.
This is because the colored thin film 4 is twisted and a portion without the colored thin film 4 (that is, a portion where the weaving/knitting yarn is exposed) appears on the surface of the woven fabric.

In the above description, a thread having a colored thin film on the weft is used, but a thread having a colored thin film on the warp may be used, or a thread having a colored thin film on both the weft and warp may be used.

In the present invention, the weft and warp threads used as materials include silk thread, artificial silk thread, wool thread used in general woven fabrics,
Twisted yarn such as cotton yarn or synthetic fiber yarn. Therefore, unlike gold and silver thread, the base material is not paper or synthetic resin film, so the texture of the resulting woven fabric is significantly superior to that of conventional fabrics using gold and silver thread.
In addition, in the present invention, a colored thin film is formed on each of the weft or warp threads and is woven.
There is no risk of the eyes of the woven fabric being crushed by adhesives, etc., and the texture is therefore better than that of gold-colored yuzen, which is made by applying adhesive to a conventional woven fabric and attaching a colored thin film. It is extremely good.

(1) As mentioned above, this is a method of using a transfer layer of a transfer foil having an adhesive layer as the colored thin film 4,
The transfer foil is placed directly on the aggregate 3, and the transfer layer is transferred onto the entire surface of the aggregate 3 by thermocompression bonding (depending on the transfer foil, only pressure bonding may be used). As the transfer foil used in this method, an ordinary transfer foil for textiles having a heat-sensitive or pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is used. For example, if necessary, a release layer is formed on the base film, and then (a) a colored coating film, (b) a metal vapor deposition layer, (c) a metal foil, (d) a colored coating film + a metal vapor deposition layer, or (e) An example of a transfer foil is a structure in which a colored layer such as a colored coating film and metal foil is formed, and an adhesive layer is further formed thereon.

(2) First, a film-like hot-melt adhesive is layered on top of the aggregate 3, and then an independent colored thin film or transfer foil is layered on top of that, and the transfer layer of the colored thin film or transfer foil is bonded to the entire surface by thermocompression. It is something to wear.

The colored thin film may be one with low tear strength so that it can be easily torn during thermocompression bonding, such as colored plastic film with a thickness of about 0.1 to 6 μm, colored or uncolored metal foil (particularly called hammered foil), etc. Gold or silver foil is preferred).

In the above method, a transfer foil or a colored thin film having multicolored colored layers is used, or a plurality of transfer foils or colored thin films of different colors are butted together and bonded under heat,
Alternatively, weft or warp yarns having a richly colored colored thin film can be obtained by sequentially thermocompressing a plurality of transfer foils or colored thin films of different colors.

In the above description, the colored thin film is attached to only one side of the assembly 3, but the colored thin film may be attached to both sides. To coat colored thin films on both sides of the aggregate 3,
Weft threads (or warp threads) are arranged in parallel on the transfer layer of a transfer foil having an adhesive layer to form a weft assembly, and then the transfer foil is placed on top of the weft threads and bonded by thermocompression on the entire surface. Alternatively, a film-like hot melt adhesive is layered on a colored thin film or transfer foil (which does not need to have an adhesive layer), and weft threads (or warp threads) are arranged in parallel on top of the film to form a weft collection. Then, a hot melt adhesive film and a colored thin film or transfer foil may be superimposed on the entire surface and bonded by thermocompression. In this way, weft (or warp) yarns 2 having colored thin films 4 on both sides are obtained as shown in FIG.

The weft or warp yarns having colored thin films on both sides as described above have the following characteristics. As mentioned above, when using weft or warp yarns that have a colored thin film on only one side, the side with the colored thin film may not always be on the front side of the woven fabric due to twisting during weaving. When using weft or warp yarns having a woven fabric, colored thin films are more likely to appear on the surface of the woven fabric. Furthermore, if the colored thin films on both sides are made to have different colors, the pattern created on the woven fabric by the twisting of the threads during weaving will be a mixture of two colors.
