Abstract

PURPOSE:To simply attach large and small size tiles by a method in which tiles are bonded to a rectangular base plate of cement mortar with reinforcing materials, and a metal latticed structural frame is attached to the rear side of the base plate. CONSTITUTION:An outer wall panel 1 consists of a base plate 2 to which tiles 3 are bonded by an adhesive mortar 4 and a structural frame 9 attached to the rear side. The base plate 2 is formed of cement mortar reinforced with carbon fibre, etc., and its surface is provided with hollow holes 5 for weight reduction and dovetail grooves 6 and fitting grooves 7 for improving bonding. Tiles 3 are bonded by the mortar 4 to the surface of the base plate 2, and the frame 9 consisting of a vertical frame 9a and side frames 9b which are assembled into a vertically long lattice form, together with a metal plate 10 with fitting metals 13, is integrally attached to the rear side of the plate 2.
