Problems to be Solved by Conventional Technologies and Ideas In recent years, roller hearth furnaces with high firing efficiency have been increasingly used for firing ceramic tiles instead of conventional trolley-type tunnel furnaces.
A roller hearth furnace continuously fires the tile substrate fed onto a conveyor consisting of a large number of rollers installed in the furnace while conveying it in one direction by the rotation of each roller. Because it comes into direct contact with the roller, fine particles of base material and glaze that have adhered to the back side of the tile base adhere to the roller, and in high-temperature areas such as the firing zone, the adhered substances melt and become glass-like. It forms a layer and firmly adheres to the surface of the roller, and as time passes, this layer becomes thicker and irregular unevenness is formed on the surface of the roller. The conveyance direction of the tile substrates is disturbed and they overlap each other, causing deformation and deformation. May cause destruction. For this reason, it is necessary to periodically remove the roller and scrape off the deposits, which has been an impediment to improving production efficiency.

On the other hand, among ceramic tiles, especially those used for walls, in order to prevent them from peeling off, multiple protrusions called soles are formed on the back side to increase the bonding force to the adhesive mortar. In such tiles, it is possible to suppress the adhesion of fine powder to the roller by reducing the width of the protrusions to reduce the contact area with the roller, but the protrusions are constant. There is a limit to how small the width of the protrusion can be because if the width is made smaller, it will be more likely to be damaged.

The object of the present invention is to solve these problems and provide a ceramic tile that can be fired mainly in a roller hearth kiln efficiently.

実施例 以下、本考案の一実施例を添付図面に基づいて

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a tile according to an embodiment of the present invention seen from the back side, in which a plurality of longitudinal protrusions 3 are arranged at intervals in the width direction on the back side of a rectangular plate-shaped tile body 2. A protrusion 4 having a small width and height is formed on the top surface of each protrusion 3 along the longitudinal direction. To give an example of the size of the protrusion 3 and the protrusion 4, the thickness of the tile body 1 is 5 to
10 mm, the protrusion 3 has a width of 5 to 10 mm and a height of 1 to 3 mm, and the protrusion 4 has a width of 1 to 3 mm,
The height is about 0.5 to 2 mm.

When firing such a tile 1 in a roller hearth furnace, as shown in FIG. At this time, each roller a only contacts the back surface of the tile 1 at the protrusion 4, and the contact area is extremely small, so that the tile is not attached to the substrate. The amount of fine powder transferred and attached to the roller is extremely small, the surface of the roller is kept smooth for a long period of time, and the tile 1 is conveyed smoothly.

As mentioned above, the main purpose of the present invention is to efficiently fire tiles in a roller hearth furnace, but if the above-mentioned protrusions are formed on the protrusions on the back of the tiles, it will be difficult to store them in a sagger. Even when firing in a trolley-type tunnel furnace or the like, the contact area with the sagger is small, and welding with the sagger due to firing can be suppressed.

As specifically explained in the above embodiment,
The ceramic tile of the present invention has a plurality of protrusions formed in one direction on the back side of the tile body, and protrusions smaller in width than the protrusions are formed on the top surface of each protrusion along the length of the protrusions. When firing in a roller hearth furnace, the contact area with the roller is small, and fine powder adheres to the roller and accumulates, which prevents normal conveyance. In addition, even when fired in a sagger, the contact area with the sagger is small and welding can be suppressed, avoiding trouble during firing and producing more efficiently. play.
