Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent moisture proof resin from entering the gap between an LCD panel terminal and a conductive pattern by providing an anisotropic conductive film with protrusion. CONSTITUTION:The LCD panel terminal 7 is led out to a liquid crystal display (LCD) panel 1 and the conductive pattern 6 is provided on an LCD driving substrate 2 corresponding to the LCD panel terminal 7. Then the anisotropic conductive film 4 is protruded from the LCD panel terminal 7 by l2 (0.2-0.5mm), the anisotropic conductive film 4 is protruded from the conductive pattern 6 by l1 (0.2-0.5mm), and they are put one over the other and heated and pressed from above the LCD driving substrate 2 to connect the LCD panel terminal 7 and conductor pattern 6 electrically. Then the part of the anisotropic conduc tive film 4 is coated with the moisture proof resin 3. Consequently, the moisture proof resin 3 is prevented from entering the gap between the LCD terminal 7 and conductive pattern 6, which are connected stably to eliminate a defect in contacting.
