Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate replacement of a brake shoe or mounting and demounting operations of an anchor block by providing hanging hooks with long holes at both end parts of the anchor block, and providing a means for releasing the engagement of support-pins with the long holes. CONSTITUTION:When a brake shoe is removed from a brake head 11', the brake shoe is lowered together with an anchor block 3 by pulling out both bolts 33 on the lower end part, and support-pins 6 are engaged with the upper ends of long holes 4a to stop hanging hooks 4. The anchor block 3 is then put into a turning movement around the support-pins 6 to release support of the brake shoe by an anchor pin 3a and demount it. Mounting operation is performed in the reverse procedure of removal. When the anchor pin 3a or a bush 3b is replaced, the brake shoe is first removed, the anchor block 3 is lifted, the support-pins 6 are engaged with notches 4b of the hanging hooks 4, and the anchor block 3 is moved in the direction of the arrow to release the engagement of the support-pins 6 with the notches 4b. After that, the anchor pin 3a or the bush 3b is replaced.

As disc brakes for railway vehicles, a pair of brake shoes having a back plate with a fixed lining is attached to the brake head, and suspended from the bogie frame, and the brake cylinder and brake lever act to brake the brake shoes. Braking force is obtained by sliding on both sides of the brake disc, or a pair of brake shoes are attached to the front and rear arms of the caliper supported on the bogie frame, and these are slid on both sides of the brake disc. There are some that obtain braking force. An example of the former is disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 147133/1983. The attachment structure of this brake shoe to the brake shoe head will be explained.

Then, insert the dovetail or dovetail groove 23a of the brake shoe into the dovetail groove or dovetail lla of the brake shoe head, screw each bolt 33 into each threaded hole lid, and insert the anchor pin 31c into the arc-shaped concave part of the brake shoe. The brake shoe 2l is fixed to the brake shoe head l1 by being locked at the stop 23b. In addition, when removing the brake shoe 2l, both lower bolts 33 are screwed out from the double screw hole lid and removed, and the brake shoe 21 is temporarily received by the anchor pin 31c that engages with the arc-shaped recess 23b. It had been removed from its original state. [Problem to be Solved by the Invention] However, in this type of conventional disc brake brake shoe mounting structure, the anchor pin 31c receives the braking torque generated during braking from the brake shoe 2l, and is prevented from repeating the braking operation. Depending on the anchor bin 31c or fixture 31
Since the pushers interposed between the anchor pins 31C and the anchor pins 31C are subject to deterioration such as uneven wear, these need to be replaced periodically. During this replacement work, since both support arms 31a each have a long hole 3lb and are integrally formed with the fixture 3l, the fixture 31 can be removed by removing each support pin 32 from the brake shoe head 11. Not only did it have to be removed, which was time-consuming, but it was also difficult work as the work had to be done by crawling under the trolley.

The present invention has been made in view of such conventional technical problems, and its configuration is such that a brake shoe having a back plate to which a lining is fixed can be slid on a brake shoe head or an arm of a caliper. In a disc brake brake shoe mounting structure, an anchor block having an anchor pin press-fitted therein and supporting the brake shoe is fixed to a brake shoe head or an arm of a caliper by a removable fixing means. Hanging fittings each having a long hole extending in the sliding direction of the brake shoe are provided at both ends, and a support pin fixed to the brake shoe head or the arm of the caliper is inserted into and engaged with the long hole. This is a brake shoe mounting structure for a disc brake, each of which is equipped with a disengagement means for disengaging the brake shoe from engagement with the elongated hole. The detachment means may be formed by a notch connected to the end of the long hole on the anchor block side, or may be formed by forming the hanging fitting from a spring material.

Further, when the anchor pin or the like is unevenly worn and needs to be replaced, after the brake shoe is removed, the detachment means is activated to disengage the support pin from the elongated hole, and the anchor block is removed. After that, work will be done to replace anchor bins, etc. If the detachment means is formed in the hanging fitting and is secured by a notch connected to the end of the elongated hole on the anchor block side, the support pin is removed from this notch. Further, when the detachment means is horizontally restrained by forming the hanging metal fittings from a spring material, both the hanging metal fittings are elastically expanded to disengage the elongated hole from the support pin.

4' is a hanging fitting made of spring material, and a through hole 4 having a larger diameter than the head 6a of the support pin 6 is provided at the end of the anchor block 3 side of the elongated hole 4'a extending in the sliding direction of the brake shoe. It is shaped like ゜b. In this way, the hanging fitting 4' is formed of a spring material, and the through hole 4°b is provided at the lower end of the elongated hole 4'a.
It constitutes a disengagement stage 34 for disengaging the engagement with the long hole 4a of the support bin 6. The work of removing or attaching a brake shoe (not shown) from the brake shoe head 11' is done by positioning the support pin 6 at the upper end of the elongated hole 4''a and rotating the anchor block 3, which is similar to the first embodiment. Since they are essentially the same, detailed explanation will be omitted.
