Furthermore, the high-voltage electrostatic field of electrostatic flocking is directional, making it difficult to uniformly form the flocked layer 7 over the entire surface of a dome surface (see FIG. 2) such as the hollow seal portion 1.

効果を奏する。<Actions and Effects of the Invention> As described above, the method for manufacturing a weather strip of the present invention includes the following steps:
When manufacturing a weatherstrip in which at least the surface of the hollow seal portion of a weatherstrip body made of EPR having a hollow seal portion is flocked, a soft urethane coating film is formed on the surface of the flocked portion of the weatherstrip body, Before the urethane coating film dries, the thickness = 0.5
~3.0 denier, length: 0.1~2mm pile 1~
A method of performing the flocking treatment by spraying a dispersion prepared by adding and dispersing 20% of the urethane coating onto the urethane coating, and planting piles in the urethane coating. Prior to formation, a primer treatment is performed with a primer solution containing chlorinated propylene or acrylic modified EPDM, which provides the following effects.
