The mainstream method for imparting a fabric-like appearance to rubber molded products has generally been to use electrostatic flocking.

Furthermore, the high-voltage electrostatic field of electrostatic flocking is directional, and it is difficult to form a uniform flocking surface (fabric surface) on uneven molded products. was limited.

Either one-component type such as oil modified type, moisture curing type, block type, or two-component type such as catalyst curing type or polyol curing type may be used.
From the viewpoint of coating performance, a polyol-cured isocyanate component is preferred. The isocyanate component of the urethane paint is preferably an aliphatic or cyclic type, so-called non-yellowing one. This is especially true for rubber molded products that are used outdoors and are often exposed to ultraviolet rays and the like.

。[Scope of Claims] After the surface of the main body of a rubber molded product made of ethylene propylene rubber is treated with a primer, a soft urethane coating is formed, and before the urethane coating dries, the thickness is 0.5 to 3.0. Manufacture of a fabric-like molded product by spraying a dispersion of 1 to 20% by weight of piles having a denier and length of 0.1 to 2 mm in a solvent and dispersing them onto the urethane coating film to form a raised pile layer. A method for producing a fabric-like rubber molded article, characterized in that the primer treatment is performed with a solution-type primer containing chlorinated polypropylene or acrylic-modified EPDM.
