Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the setting property to a forming mold and to improve the appearance and the seated feeling of a seat by arranging plural fastener pieces at an interval on the surface of a ground fabric, closing up tightly each fastener surface by connecting them by a flexible part and sticking a closed film, and also, providing a magnetic material on each fastener piece. CONSTITUTION:On the surface except an outer edge part of a common ground fabric 1, fastener surfaces 3 are formed at an interval to each other, and three pieces of fastener pieces 2 are formed, respectively. A flexible part 4a is formed by the ground fabric in a gap part of each fastener piece 2. An adhesive tape 6 is placed on the fastener surface 3, and on the surface, a magnetic material piece of a thin band-like iron plate is stuck as a magnetic material 7. The magnetic material 7 is provided in order to set a magnet to a forming mold at the time of forming a cushion material. A thin closed film 8 made of a synthetic resin covers the surface of each fastener piece 2 as one body together with each flexible part 4a, the tape 6 and the magnetic material 7, and brought to thermal adhesion on the surface of the ground fabric of an outer edge part of each fastener surface 3. When a foaming synthetic resin such as urethane foam, etc., of a raw material is brought to foaming by setting a magnet to the forming surface of a forming mold provided with a magnet, the fastener surface 3 side can be attached integrally to a cushion material.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION "Industrial Application Field" This invention is applied to seats of vehicles such as automobiles and furniture, in order to bring a cover material close to the surface of a cushion material to conform to the shape of the seat. The present invention relates to a member for forming a hook-and-loop fastener attached to a cushion material side that engages with an engagement surface formed on a cover material side.

"Prior Art" Generally, a cover material is formed of a three-layer structure including a skin material (for example, fabric, knit, leather, etc.), a filler pad, and a backing fabric. In some cases, hook-and-loop fasteners are attached to the back of the backing fabric by sewing or other means to form an engaging surface, but currently, hook-and-loop fasteners are attached to the back of the backing fabric to form an engaging surface.
An engagement surface that can be engaged with a hook-and-loop fastener on the cushion material side is formed. This engaging surface is provided on the entire surface of the backing fabric or in a width necessary to conform the cover material to the shape of the sheet. On the other hand, on the cushion material side, a plurality of band-shaped hook and loop fasteners are usually attached to the necessary locations to conform the cover material to the shape of the seat. Note that a large number of loops are formed on the engagement surface on the cover material side, and a large number of hooks that engage with the loops are usually provided on the fastener surface of the hook and loop fastener on the cushion material side.

There are many ways to bring the cover material into close contact with the cushion material, but one that is easy and low cost is the method described in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 64-6158, "Cushion pads and skin materials for seats etc." There is a "junction structure".

That is, this means engages a hook-and-loop fastener attached integrally with the cushion material and a hook-and-loop fastener attached to the cover material (skin material) during foam molding of a cushion material (cushion pad) made of foamed synthetic resin. This brings the cover material into close contact with the cushion material.

However, with the above method, the hook-and-loop fastener placed on the mold tends to move during molding of the cushion material. Therefore, a fastener assembly as shown in FIG. 7 is commercially available. In the figure, 21 is a base fabric, 22 is a fastener surface formed on the surface thereof excluding the outer edge, and both 21 and 22 form a hook-and-loop fastener. 23 is a paper adhesive tape placed on the fastener surface 22, and 24 is a magnetic piece adhered to the surface of the adhesive tape 23. 25 is a thin synthetic resin type sealing film, which includes an adhesive tape 23 and a magnetic piece 24.
It also covers the surface of the base fabric 21 and is bonded to the outer edge of the surface of the base fabric 21.

``Problems to be Solved by the Invention'' By the way, both this commercially available fastener assembly and the hook-and-loop fastener described in the above-mentioned publication have problems with the base fabric of the hook-and-loop fastener due to the shrinkage of the foamed synthetic resin that is the raw material during molding of the cushioning material. Since it does not follow the shrinkage, the base fabric becomes wavy by the amount of FM absorbed by the cushioning material, and the fastener surface also becomes wavy. Furthermore, when commercially available hook-and-loop fasteners are curved in the length direction against the curved surface of the mold, the magnetic material piece, which is approximately the same length as the built-in hook-and-loop fastener, is affected, resulting in undulations on the fastener surface during molding. may cause

This waving on the fastener surface may appear on the cover material joined to the cushioning material, deteriorating the appearance of the seat, or the engaging surface on the cover material side and the portion on the cushioning material side that engages with the hook-and-loop fastener and the portion that does not engage with the hook-and-loop fastener. As a result, an abnormal noise will be emitted when the seat is seated.

Moreover, a hook-and-loop fastener of a certain length is formed on the surface of the cushioning material to which tension acts. Therefore, even if tension is applied to the hook-and-loop fastener when the cushioning material is bent, the hook-and-loop fastener has no elasticity and creates a so-called hammock state, which adversely affects sitting comfort.

In order to eliminate waving on the fastener surface, the hook-and-loop fastener can be divided into a plurality of fastener pieces, and the lengths that do not cause undulation are set at intervals in a mold during molding. However, this increases the number of man-hours required for setting, and also causes quality problems such as uneven pinching between fastener pieces, steps, and twisting.

"Operation" When foam-molding cushioning materials, if you set the fastener side facing the molding surface of the molding mold in which the magnet is arranged, the magnetic material will be attracted to the molding magnet, so you can easily attach the hook-and-loop fastener to the magnet. It can be set easily, and the hook-and-loop fastener' does not move during molding. Moreover, since the hook-and-loop fastener is divided into segments and connected to each other by an elastic portion, it follows the curved surface of the molded surface well. Since each fastener piece is connected by an elastic part, it can be set in a mold in step 1.

The base fabric of the hook-and-loop fastener is impregnated with foamed synthetic resin, which is the raw material for the cushioning material, and is integrally attached to the surface of the cushioning material, but during molding, the elastic portion causes the hook-and-loop fastener to follow the shrinkage of the raw material. to prevent ripples on the zipper surface. In addition, since the fastener surface is covered with a sealing film, the raw material does not impregnate it. After the cushioning material is formed, the sealing film is easily removed.
